I have read many of the responses that have been directed towards Sen. Obama. It would be fair enough if what most of you people post is predicated on fact or simply disdain for Obama's politics. The most interesting was by an individual named 'nature's man 1975' or something along that line. He referred to Obama as an 'affirmative action Harvard graduate'.
As difficult as it may be to admit, such disturbing statements are made on the basis of questionable stereotypes and blatant racism.
If you have a problem with Sen. Obama, please attack his politics not his person or his race.
Excuse me, I have made no such statement.
I wasn't even aware that Obama went to Harvard.
And for the record, I have been actively involved in fighting racism since I was at school, over forty years ago.
The statement to which you refer was made to me, not by me. It can be seen as Post #71 here.
I expect an apology.
I have been fighting racism since I was a small child. I have personally helped to fund a scholarship so indigenous Australian children can attend my old school. I do not appreciate being accused of racism.
Don't count on a apology. He is a troll. He signed up for membership today.
He did single you out for some reason.
Maybe he is a "racist" who hate Australians...LOL!
Don't let him bother you. He is just your typical leftist idiot who's only argument is to cry racist even when it doesn't apply in an effort to shutdown the debate.
Cheers,
Arnold
Blind Freddy can see that Osama Bin Laden and his buddies will be praying for an Obama victory. Howard was merely stating the obvious and has every right to comment on foreign policy matters that impact on Australia. As for Rudd, he is a political opportunist currently enjoying a honeymoon as the new opposition leader. Also, wasn't it Obama who demonstrated his ignorance some weeks ago by inferring that Australia was one of the rogue states wanting to acquire nuclear weapons and this was a problem the US had to face? What an ignorant moron!!!
Yes. And she is much more dangerous than Obama. IMO, we have much more to fear from her than from a political never-has-been like Obama.
Hillary has the political machine to back her up, and she has a history of getting what she wants by coercion, intimidation, and wielding political power.
Besides, she will see to it that Obama never gets close to the nomination.
Where ever truth dares raise it's head,
Liberals arise to kill it dead.
I noted the date he signed up.
But I'm not going to jump to conclusions.
I'll give him the chance to apologise and correct his error.
That is, if he ever actually reads that he made one - he may never come back.
I was shocked that Cornyn came on so strong against Howard, one of the USA's best allies....of which we have very few. He'll be quoted all over the place, I'm sure. It doesn't matter how much he tried to smooth it over later.
Republicans have to stop giving verbal ammunition to the other side.......either other side, Dems or terrorists.
Obama is such an intellectual lightweight
Hey Rudd, screw you.
John Howard and Tony Blair are probably two of hte best debaters in the world right now.
Fact is American politicians dont usually make good debators. Our "debates" are more about form and structure than substance.
I would love to see Nancy, Hill or Harry Reid have to one day per week hold a question and answer period as in done in Parlimentary systems.
I had the pleasure of watching Question and Answer period in Canberra back in 2003. Howard was brilliant, knocking down questions from the Labor Party from Iraq to the littlest local issue.
American pols simply arent use to thinking on their feet
Obama is a typically sleazy Chicago democrat of no particular significance until the Treason media decided to start trumpeting him as the new Messiah. He has no policies worth the name, no experience to justify being mentioned in the same breath as the presidency.
It is hilarious to watch the media put its clowns through the paces as they jump through hoops of illogic and fantasy salivating about this demagogue and lightweight.
I think that Newt, Rudy, and Mitt would all do well in any debate with the current Rat candidates.
I dont think the debates will matter that much...debates have only changed the outcome of an election in 1960 and maybe 1976.
He;s an empty suit.I wouldn't vote for Barack Hussein Obama in any case.
