Bush has NOT governed more conservatively since his election in 2001. CFR, free pills for granny, NCLB, billions in aid to Africa, etc etc - does ANY of that ring a bell? With the pitiful exception of his tax cuts (which will be made irrelevent in a few short years anyway to pay for all of his compassion) he has governed like a centerist Dem.
