I am sure glad that you are speaking AS an Evangelical, and not FOR us.

Fail? As of now...still very early, Giuliani is really the only one ahead of the queen in the polls...if there's actually someone that you do like, how are they doing in the polls against her or vs. other Republicans?

You can support the loser if you want. I won't stay home, there's plenty more things to vote for than two liberals.

By at least being soemthing other than a mayor like a governor, congressman or senator perhaps? You're still wiggling! I already made the case of the mayor who handled much larger problems than the oilman!
You continue this flawed argument assuming people won't read every post!
Wise up, sir!

Elizabeth Dole 17%
Dan Quayle 12%
Steve Forbes 7%
Lamar Alexander 4%
John Ashcroft 4%
Newt Gingrich 4%
John Kasich 4%

Very interesting post. What is also interesting is that McCain isn't even on the radar in '98. Wonder who the "McCain-equivalent" (if any) will be in 2008?

Here's an interesting FR thread from Aug. of '99:
Stonewall Mr. Bush ....and there are many more just like it.

COLMES: Now, Roe vs. Wade -- You are pro-choice. How important is it to you as a pro-choice Republican to have a pro-choice on the court as someone...
GIULIANI: That is not the critical factor. And what's important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court. And he fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category."
Doesn't sound to me like he is going to nominate strict constructionists. He nominated leftists almost exclusively to judicial positions when he was mayor.

That's still a vote for Hillary, but it's your vote. I voted for Perot in '92...which helped elect Clinton. I've learned my lesson.

Maybe we need to get some sort of a draft Gov. Sanford movement going.

If you want to pick & choose parts of the transcript that's fine. As Hannity pointed out, that discussion dealt with Democrats. Again, with Hillary, you
know exactly what you're going to get & her liberalism doesn't end with social issues.

Bigger then many states, bigger then many countries, LOL! The NYC budget is somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 Billion Dollars. There are 8 million people, the tri-state area economy hums to the tune of almost a Trillion dollars, the largest in the US of A. Mr./Ms. beltfed308 is still trying to feed a flawed argument to others. I don't see how he's hiding his head in the sand and carrying on like he never before heard the argument you're supporting!
Just amazing!

It's getting to be ridiculous how many Rudy threads there are. Have you counted the number of totally worthless "Duncan Who" posts telling us Duncan Hunter is surging and has doubled his poll numbers to 2% Wow or Duncan Hunter was on CNN again like it was a badge of courage. If you see more Rudy posts its likely be because there are more media articles on Rudy and these are being posted unlike the Duncan Who's who have to resort to posting campaign materials or doing vanities.

An ex-mayor suddenly knows all about being a Commander-in-Chief? Getting rid of public urination is somehow a qualification to fighting Islamofascists? This does not compute.Who has the experience to be Commander-in- Chief except a former President? The only two with that experience and who are eligible are George H. W. Bush and Jimmy Carter.
How far do you want to push this particular argument?
To: WalterSkinner; Nervous Tick
Here's another one I found both threads conducting a Google search using various word combos.

"It is obvious that Rudy is the choice of about 30 times more conservatives than your candidate."
I didn't know the primaries were complete. Oh, that's right they haven't had one yet. Pretty forward statement to make without a single vote cast as of yet. Bet it doesn't quite work out the way you expect.
