Just to let those who want to see what GOP candidate Duncan Hunter is like in person know that he is going to be on Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer on CNN today at 11amEST. I know CNN is not something you really want to tune in to but you can make an exception if you want to see Duncan Hunter yourself.
He is my congressman - I do support him.
He is a true conservative.
I plan on watching with one hand over one eye since I can't stand Blitzer.
For those of you who have not heard Duncan Hunter before here is a good chance.Lets see if he takes wolfie to task today.
Freep-mail me to get on or off my pro-life and Catholic Ping List:
Please ping me to all note-worthy Pro-Life or Catholic threads, or other threads of interest.
thanks for the heads-up
Thanks for the info. I'm hoping that some nice person will tell us about it. BTW, just out of curiosity, how is 11 AM the "Late Edition"?
Thanks - I have wanted to hear him and his views instead of just reading about him.
He sounds so very sane, he probably has no chance -
FYI - thought you would like to know this.
What do you expect from CNN?!
Exactly nothing---I never turn the TV on.
Thanks for the heads up. He is able to handle herr Blitzer from what I remember.
Anyone find it strange that the network giving Duncan Hunter the most airtime is CNN? Anyone think that maybe they are trying to find us a candidate that can lose to Hillary in the general election.
Duncan Hunter is the only bright spot in my political world - the rest of it is Barbie and Di and Arnie.
I KNOW Duncan (he was a Marine) can handle Blitzer - but I can't.
LOL
I'm considering Duncan Hunter...I'll wait until I learn more in the days to come.
I urge you to consider him.
He's been strong on border security LONG LONG before everyone else. He's very good for the military - a marine himself with a son who has been to Iraq twice.
I don't know of any skeletons hidden in the closet - he usually wins this district with over 60% (or more). I've met him and was very pleased with what I saw.
He looks a bit "rumpled" - not a smoothie - but does speak well - not fancy - just speaks his mind.
I don't know of any conservative issues on which he hedges.
I also know that on military issues he is forceful and very much an advocate for the troops.
He's taken a leading role in trying to resolve this issue with the imprisoned border patrol agents.
He was a driving force in getting Pres. Bush to take the Mt. Soledad Cross under federal protection.
Thanks for the ping. I will watch it.
If this is the case, he's got my vote!
So far, as time goes on and I learn more, I lean more toward Duncan Hunter.
I'm looking forward to his talk with "Gums" Blitzer.
Good to see that Blitzer is doing what Limbaugh and Vannity won't. I was impressed with Hunter when I heard him on Bill Bennett's program on WTTT.
