One big problem I have is that the Cable Company stopped laying cable about two blocks from me in this Subdivision in the Country or I would use their DSL through Cable. Another Problem is that to get the DSL I will have to use Sprint/Embarq and they did not even upgrade my Phone line for DSL until I called and inquired and then started asking questions. Sprint/Embarq is not just a Horrrible Company to it's customers (they have a monopoly on local Service in my area) but also to their employees. They have monopolized a large Portion of the Local Service in SW Florida area. I would love to have Vonage, but they rely on Your DSL for even your regular local service. It is a shame that it cannot be made simpler and more honest. I cannot even use my Cellphone most of the time where I live because Sprint won't build Towers, and the environmentalists won't let them build either. There is an area Midway between where I live and Sarasota that has nothing but Cows, Horses, Buzzards, Sawgrass, Swampland, but they have Towers galore. What is wrong with this Picture?

Wow and I think we sometimes have problems re competition or non competition in the UK. Phone companies and Internet providers do not fit into this catagory.
