I also think that one reason the Dems don't attack our involvement in Afghanistan as much is because NATO is in control over there...and we know how much the dems LOVE international forces...
In fact I think they respect "international" forces much more than the US military forces.

To the Left Wing, Netroots, Moveon.org, Michael Moore side of the democra-Tick party, the enemy is not the terrorists nor Islamic fundementalists, it is the United States, George Bush, evil Republicans, and Christians (not necessarily in that order). I kid you not.
They and their spokesmen (such as John F'n) really do believe it is the US that is evil, not the thugs and tyrants of the world. Kerry's been making these type of stupid statements since Vietnam. That he came as close as he did to being President says a lot about the thinking powers of some of our citizenry!

It's unavoidable, and I am not quibbling about getting 100% of what I want, just basic concepts that should never be ignored by any political party or govt. If we are not a nation of borders and laws it should have been voted on.

The problem with quoting Hillary Clinton is she is inconsistent and changes her mind depending on polling and pressure from the special interest groups.
She voted for the action in Iraq before she voted against it.

Absolutely.
But they are so slick, like hillary, they (the dems)will be on both sides of every major issue there is.
As much as I respect Dick Morris he taught them how to play a very deadly game.

"I'll also keep a sharp eye out to see if any of the Republican candidates take Feith on as an adviser. I'll look very favorably on that candidate."
Smart candidates should be scrambling to get him on board. Please let me know if you hear anything.

The Dims "support" for Afghanistan is a lie, like everything else they say is a lie. By pretending to support the mission in Afghanistan, they think they can hide the fact that they really are a bunch of whiny little cowards who do want to cut and run from everywhere, and that there is absolutely nothing that is ever worth fighting for, ever.
But if they succeed in pulling our troops out of Iraq, you can be sure that the very first thing they will do is say that it's time to bring our troops home from Afghanistan, that Bush lied to get them into Afghanistan in the first place, and that what's going on in Afghanistan is just another civil war that we have no business being in the middle of. IOW, the same garbage they're now spewing about Iraq.
