US secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice was quizzed yesterday over the failure by the current US administration to present any form of solid evidence over Iran's alleged nuclear weapons program.
During the questioning one Republican congressman, Ron Paul told the hearing "Unproven charges against Iran's nuclear intentions are eerily reminiscent of the false charges made against Iraq."
Paul went on to say "This sounds like Iraq, where accusations came first and proof was supposed to come later only that proof never came because the accusations turned out to be false."
BRAVO RON PAUL!!!
It seems Mr. Paul isn't reading the same reports that I have read.
It's so interesting to read on this site and elsewhere how BUSH is supposedly a RINO.
With "Republicans" like this ass in Congress, how a president who's leading the fight against terror with feeble support from his party's elected representatives is accused of being a RINO is beyond me.
>>>"Unproven charges against Iran's nuclear intentions are eerily reminiscent of the false charges made against Iraq."

Oh Ron Paul....please don't commit political suicide. :(

No, that won't wash. Bush likes deficit spending, big government, and being in power. That's the very model of a modern day Republican. What is isn't is a conservative.
If they expect to have Cuban missile crisis type photos every time, it is not going to happen, especially when a nation is hiding it from the beginning, such as Iran
Regarding Ron Paul---

There is a big difference between a Libertarian and a Real Republican.....

Regarding BUSH---

To a Real Republican Bush shows symptoms of RINO-ism.....

Apart from his position on Islam.....oops....er....terror he has no financial/budgetary similarities to the "Typical" Republican....nor is his immigration/border security position in line with most republcan thinking....so much so that many who call themselves conservative have distanced themselves from Bush....

I'm one of those.
Should have read == What [Bush] isn't is a conservative.

Are you of the opinion that Iran is NOT pursuing a nuclear weapon?
Ah. I see. So I would guess she is not really interested in whether Iran is REALLY engaged in a nuclear weapons program.
 Not one bit.
Hence, your signature...:)

Thanks for the head up.
"No, that won't wash. Bush likes deficit spending, big government, and being in power. That's the very model of a modern day Republican. What is isn't is a conservative."

Well, you've got some stuff right here. Of course, Reagan was quite the deficit spender, so...oops, I guess Reagan doesn't qualify as conservative either.

"Bush likes...being in power...the very model of a modern day Republican. What is(sic) isn't is a conservative."

You got that part right, many of today's conservatives seem quite happy to be out of power, and carping from the sidelines. It is easier than leadership and governance.
