Failed 'Hillarycare' Taught Me a Lesson, Says Sen. Clinton

Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday that her unsuccessful health care reform effort in 1993 makes her more effective on the issue now as she seeks the presidency

This week, rival John Edwards offered his plan for universal health care that calls for a tax increase to ensure health care coverage for all and a requirement that businesses provide insurance. The tax increase would pay for the plan's cost of up to $120 billion a year.

"The president can propose, but the Congress has to dispose, and if we don't have a consensus in the country that our present system is no longer adequate to provide quality affordable coverage to every American and increase the competitiveness of our economy and reduce the burden on individuals, then we can't get any plan sent forward," she said.

I still don't understand why she felt like she had to jump in now, rather than wait until Labor Day.

lol! Well, John Edwards is going a step bigger in actually using statistics - obviously, something Hillary is unable or not willing to peg to, yet. And then there's Governor Schwarzennegger beating Hillary at her own game.

So, IMHO, she's jumping NOW, to get in front of the parade: Like an Al Gorism ("I invented the Internet"), I suspect Hillary is jumping so fast so she can pull a "Gore-ism"... as in "I Invented U-Healthcare But the Evil Republicans Found Out I was Operating In Secret and Misuing My Position as First Lady".

But, like, oops.

You're right. Let's try her quote on again:

...and if we don't have a consensus in the country that our present system is no longer adequate

Not true.

But let's now change modify one work in her sentence:

...and if we don't have a consensus in the country that our present SOCIAL SECURITY system is no longer adequate

This fact is provable. There's no dispute except from Dems and their "concensus" monkey wankers. Modify Social Security, and the Dems can't play footsie with the markets again.

I have a hunch a new "do" ain't going to empower her to dominate the world, either.

Bingo. I took her "admittance" to mean that she'd learned that being sneaky (as she was) only attracted more attention. Yours is right on the money.

They must have had a Rennaissance meeting to discuss the pre-marketing agenda and program for the recent round of U-Health.

Will there be any rock-ribbed, titanium-spined conservatives left who will express similar sentiment?

What's sad, and pathetic, is......I can't name one currently elected to national office.

The Satanic spawn needs no Earthly "do" to make herself more appealing to the masses. She needs merely to marshal enough forces of Evil against forces for Good and Decency to enact her global socialistic plans.

I do wonder if she'll attempt to seize private corporation profits for "the children" at the same time she goes for "HildebeastCare".

I have an idea. Let's let Hillary be president for a while to REALLY teach the Republicans a lesson. < /sarcasm >

It taught her that half the American people didn't fall for her BS ,but once she seizes power in a coup, she'll have them thrown into gulags and the rest will be silly putty in her hands.

I just heard THE DON'T DELIVER MAIL IN CANADA ANYMORE~!!! You have to go to a local neighborhood 'superbox' and pick yours up.. I bet that saves a lot of gas

Don't believe everything you hear, I get mine delivered to my door.
There are some areas that have 'superboxes'.
People stop at them on their way home from work
so I don't know how much gas is really wasted.
I wonder how much taxpayer money is spent
having an civil servant walking door to door handing out mail?

Walmart will have its nationwide system of clinics open by election time next year

It's about time we had some serious competition in health care.

Depose the AMA and its bastion of parasites.

I don't have to be a doctor to look up an illness on the internet.

Why can we not have the medical care all these senators and congresspeople have? It is better than all the rest of us have. They think they are special or something?

The only people that have better medical care are the illegal aliens. It is everything is paid for. Thanks a heap.
