"Gangs of illegal alien Mexicans have declared war on the USA and are trying to take back the American southwest".

And they even have established bus routes.
Glad I live far from a border or...

What was done is wrong, but understandable.
Shooting into a van full of women and children is understandable?

It wasn't anywhere near a border crossing to boot. It was at least 25 miles north of the border, NW of Tuscon.

Love the smear they included against the Minutemen in the editorial passing as news. The Minutemen don't operate anywhere near that area. They watch the border. What the USBP used to do, until they were told to back off.

No sweat.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but after all these men have been through, the least we can do is spell their names right.

...migrant traffickers.
And which brainiac at Reuters opened up the PC dictionary to come up with this new definition of human smugglers? Wasn't coyotes working?

This is what I gleened from the article that was linked to this post...

"U.S.-Mexico relations over their 2,000-mile (3,200-km) border have been tense since U.S. activists who call themselves Minutemen began staking out the border area in 2005 to track down illegal Mexican and Central American immigrants."

Not that I am trying to stir the pot, and I am just as outraged that if the linked story was changed since you posted this yesterday...

This looks like the part of the article that has everyones bowels in an uproar...If it was altered, I'd like to get some folks take on this...

Just curious...

Something else that is just now getting above the radar now in the media...

Apparently the drug cartels are using hilltop observation posts, just like the minutemen and the BP/National Guard are doing to redirect and cover for the trains of drug traffickers coming across the border now...

They are apparently well armed, and the communications are very sofisticated...

I heard this is mostly in Arizona...

Can anyone else confirm this...My source was a local Houston talk-show host talking to Representative Culberson from our state...

Could this be Cartel members posing as MM to force US action against the MM? With our President's views on the MM out in the open (and on CNN), sounds like this could be the case.

"And which brainiac at Reuters opened up the PC dictionary to come up with this new definition of human smugglers?"

It could be worse. I can envision a day when Reuters will begin to refer to them as immigration facilitators.

No. Bush and Congress need to grow some balls and authorize the military to go kick some Mexican ass!
