"do you know who your mother is?" will usually get the correct response, however, "do you know who your daddy is?" may cause confusion..

All of the others quoted in the article offer common-sense solutions to what a child without a mother can do. In fact, what a lot of children without mothers have always done.
How is it that this is lost on the school adminstrator?
