Lessee, if I'm not mistaken, Bush ran on the war and won in 2004. Now he is facing a virtual de-funding of the war, and opposition everywhere.

But it's a moot point. This guy has zero chance, and it has to do with the fact that he is a novice and obviously hasn't thought through what it takes to seriously run for president the way GW Bush, Ronald Reagan, and even Bill Clinton did. Now, if he's doing all this for 2012 or beyond, then it makes sense.

Good idea!! We'll run Rudy this time around and then Duncan Hunter can run against Hillary Clinton in 2012.

No one has the balls to defund the war. And by 2008, the landscape for GOP victory will be a helluva lot better. Hillary just killed her chances with the "I'll end the war" speech. She ran so far left so fast that she is sunk.
