As president, I will complete the border fence in six months."

You asked. I answered, and besides, it's my thread. LOL
He is so far superior to the other candidates, its just a matter of time and sweat and $$ before he's cracked the top tier.
Conservatives will not settle for Tim Russert and Stone Phillips telling us who is electable.
Kinda like Rudy.
Actually, that is true.
Conservatives and conservative candidates are not going to get ANY press except for Fox. Don't you get it? The MSM is going to shut us out. They are already doing it.
Without press there's no traction. Without traction there's no money coming in.
It's Rudy or McCain; that's all there is.
I'm voting third party.
Hi Jim, Duncan Hunter, the only major military person running
In late September, Hunter was the guest of honor at a black-tie dinner in a hall at Washington's Union Station, where the hawkish defense group the Center for Security Policy presented him with its annual "Keeper of the Flame" award.
Among those lauding him at the Center for Security Policy banquet that evening was Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who said the Pentagon relies on Hunter's "wisdom, his leadership, his experience and his 'get it done' attitude.'
"It is something when he comes into your office like a whirling dervish and starts discussing a subject first at the national level and then down at the microlevel, and then leaves you pieces of metal on your desk that you can hardly lift and has explained exactly where it goes, what it's for, why it should be there and then wants to know why it isn't. And God bless him for it."
Rumsfeld also said the U.S. is more secure because of Hunter.
"He's never let the troops down, and as a result of his leadership and his hard work, our nation is a safer place today," Rumsfeld told the dinner gathering that included Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Everyone keeps saying they want another Reagan. Hunter on the issues is very close to Reagan, and he doesn't have to change himself to get there.
No one has the balls to defund the war. And by 2008, the landscape for GOP victory will be a helluva lot better. Hillary just killed her chances with the "I'll end the war" speech. She ran so far left so fast that she is sunk.
Just hire a bunch of illegal aliens to build the wall. Those stone masons should be offered citizenship to build it.
McCain is still running and he has a son serving in Iraq.
Sorry, the MSM is still powerful, but the right wing media (talk radio, FR, blogoshere) have changed the dynamics. Do YOU rely on the MSM to inform you? Do your conservative, voting friends?
Damn straight!
He is as close as there is on the national scene. Not in name recognition, unfortuantley, but in philosophy and temperment.
And someone had the gall to tell me today that Hunter is the rights version of Kucinich.
No, there is no other man in DC to compare to Hunter. Maybe Jeff Sessions in the Senate.
McCain & Teddy Kennedy's bill is open border and amnesty.
I'll take that bet.
It seems to me that Duncan Hunter will never show up on the radar unless he makes a decent showing in Iowa! I believe California and a few others are trying to get an earlier start and Iowa and NH have vowed that they will move their primaries to keep their first position. I like Duncan Hunter and will likely vote for him in the Tennessee primary. But, he needs to make a good show in Iowa in order to get any attention from the MSM. Heck, he can't even get any attention from FOX! But, my point about the fence seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Promising a fence is merely pandering to the right-wing and will solve nothing. Thus, his sincerity about stopping illegal immigration is questionable! He must know what it will take. But like many others, he has chosen to bury his head in the sand!
He sounds great, if I had two dimes to rub together, I'd send him some $$ right now. Unfortunately it's been one of those months where it's one unexpected fincial whack after another. Maybe next month will be better, I like everything I've heard about DH so far:) Jims wife.
"Do we have a bet?"
I thought the Congress outlawed internet gambling. LOL
Thanks for the post.
