Hey at least he wants to do something with his own money instead of insisting the Gov't do something with our money.

Who knows what he's really up to, the article doesn't say much. I can't imagine what it would be like to listen to Willie Nelson and Hagg talk politics... or Willie Nelson and Toby Keith for that matter... music makes for strange bedfellows.

"We don't smoke marijuana in Muskogee,"
"We don't take our trips on LSD,"
That pretty much eliminates 99% of musicians from ever setting foot in the place.

When I saw the headline I thought this may have something to do with "Rainbow stew".

The Hagg is a crazed left-winger.

I thought Merle Haggard was more into
"The Green, Green Grass Of Home" than "Green Energy".
But what do I know? Maybe he's just become "The Fugitive" from the song business?

Merle Haggard Explores Green Energy I think Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson have been exploring "green energy" in their smoking habit for many a decade.
