HORRAYY! About time a Senator steps forth and tells it like it should be told. Perhaps more with a little spine will step the hell up to the plate.

Here is a letter that will make you cry. Ordinary people do care more than many Democrat congressional members:

Subject: Letter to Soldier
My Grandson, PVT Eric Lewis was on a plane from Atlanta, having just arrived for R&R from Iraq. . When he departed the plane at Dulles, a young female who had been sitting several rows behind him, handed him an envelope. Eric waited until he had arrived home in Lake Ridge to open the envelope. Below is a copy of that letter.

What a lovely letter that is. Your grandson must have been so proud and touched. How absolutley wonderful. Thank him for me from the bottom of my heart for his service to the country. The US is such a lucky country to have such a magnificent Military. Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming ocurrence with us.

This is too cool. I met the good Senator and voted for him when ran for Congress before I joined the Air Force. I soon became a Florida resident soon after. He is one of the good ones.

The days of fast talk and loose lips may be coming to and end. These Senators and Representatives are going to be called on what they say or do not say as things heat up, regarding this Iraq debate.

Nice to hear something good from one of our leaders here in NH. I haven't had time to investigate fully, but it sounds like Sununu has been very a very weak soul lately, and may have been on the wrong side of the dem resolution treachery. I think he might deserve a severe reprimand.
