Isn't it amazing that in the House of Representatives, where just a few minutes ago the Republican party reigned, that Mr. Hunter could only get 69 members to co-sponsor?

You would have thought that they would have all been tripping over themselves to sign on.

Thank God for the men who have the obvious courage to stand up for what's right. And as for the spineless others - sort of obvious what their attitude is towards the people who put them in power, isn't it?

And maybe that's why they've lost so much.

Pro-life conservative Republican Luis Fortuño is one of the co-sponsors, but unfortunately he will not be able to vote for final passage, since he is the Resident Commissioner from Puerto Rico and thus may only vote in committee. If Puerto Rico were a state, it would likely send 6 pro-life Representatives and 2 pro-life Senators to Congress.
