The Malcolm X Grassroots Movement (MXGM) describes itself as an organization of “Afrikans in America,” rather than “African Americans,” because it does not view black people in the United States as true Americans but rather as the descendants of forcibly transplanted Africans -- descendants whose very presence in North America is nothing more than an unfortunate legacy of slavery. In much of its literature MXGM makes reference to “amerikkka,” whose lower-case spelling connotes contempt and disregard, and whose triple k’s signify the nation’s allegedly irredeemable racism as embodied in the Ku Klux Klan. Vowing “to defend the human rights of our [black] people and promote self-determination in our community,” MXGM charges that “the collective institutions of white-supremacy, patriarchy and capitalism have been at the root of our [black] people's oppression.”

To advance the “struggle for the liberation of the New Afrikan Nation -- By Any Means Necessary,” MXGM’s Free the Land campaign seeks to form an “independent Black Nation on land in north amerikkka.” This proposed entity would be situated in the region that “is primarily known as South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, as well as other areas of what is now called the Black-Belt South, where Afrikan people are in the majority or have a historical/economical/socio-cultural relationship to [sic].” The New Afrikan Nation would have a communist economy where “the major means of production and trade” were placed “in the trust of the state.” In addition, MXGM demands “reparations, or repayment for four hundred years of slavery, colonialism and oppression of our people in the United States of America.”

I once listened to this kind of idiocy live at my college campus. These people have no understanding of history, historical fact or context.

Also, how many states they want? I counted 5 listed in the article. Somebody mentioned some of the very northern part of Alaska, I like that but just make sure the its the part in the arctic circle.

They should be yelling at the Brits, anyway. They're the ones that brought them here in the first place.

They should also be yelling at their relatives in Africa - those are the ones who captured and enslaved them and sold them to the Arab slave traders for guns and rum.

Then they can yell at the Arab slave traders for selling them to the British.

These people need to study some history - especially about the whites who were grabbed off the ships and sold into slavery. It happened and it happened to many.

Because of the races intermingling, by the early 1800s many slaves had light skin, blond hair and blue eyes. The slave dealers were no dummies - they started grabbing young whites and selling them as slaves. There was a famous case about a young German girl whose parents died on the trip over. She was grabbed off the docks when the ship landed in Baltimore and was sold as a slave. It took her family in German 20 years to find her, she was working on a plantation in Louisiana.

She certainly wasn't the only case.

People also ignore the fact that many blacks were also slave owners.

Just who is going to figure out who owes reparations to who?

Here's the serious flaw with their plans. Their communist agenda seriously conflicts with Malcom X's religion, Islam.

Islamics cannot and will allow it. Communism, Feminism and Islam will never co-exist.

The black leadership is well aware of it, and the black working classes even more so, as they compete with illegals for jobs in places like Seattle and Chicago, both over one thousand miles from the southern border. As despicable as are African American leaders like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who effectively serve as foremen for the white liberal establishment, keeping their fellow blacks on the Democrat plantation, they are less of a threat than the likes of Louis Farrakhan and others whose Muslim extremist and socialist views make Jackson and Sharpton seem like Goldwater conservatives.

If the economic situation for the less prosperous blacks becomes more severe, and their old school, Jackson-Sharpton type leaders lose clout to Hispanic leaders, they may turn to radical firebrands.

This whole Malcom X thing is hysterical. I'm in Omaha, Malcom X's birthplace. Periodically black groups in town want to make his house an historical site, but they can't as they can't get the neighbors to stop dumping garbage on the lot where the house used to stand. The neighbors aren't angry whites either.... The lot is right in the middle of North Omaha where the highest concentration of blacks live.

They were brought over in ships in horrible conditions. However, the question is "how did they get on the ships?". The slavers would put into Africa, and buy the slaves from other Africans. The slaves could be members of a captured rival tribe, or simply members of the chief's own tribe who were considered extraneous persons. Some chiefs even sold their own offspring to the slavers. The trade was very uneven, with the africans receiving old military uniforms, beads and other assorted cheap trinkets in return for human beings.

Constitution: 1787
14th Amendment: 1868

So slavery existed in some of the states from 1787 to 1868. That's 91 years.
