Mount Laundry awaits as does a kitchen that would be a good set for a maxine movie theme. Later, all
HELLOW DOLLY!
This message today is priceless. Think we've all had problems with friends and family at some time all the while learning faith and endurance.
LOL at the cartoons and your "maxine" comment.
Hi, Aqua! Good to "see" you too! :o)
WOW!!! What a great analysis of Dem-Speak, JH2!
Outstanding presentation, dutchess.
Atta-Boy - Atta-Girl!!!
Hi, there, you two! Did it again, didn't ya, John? I like the way you put it all together, too, Sistah D! Am so glad we have someone who can 'tell it like it is' every week.
I'm holding onto hope that the "In it to win it" spouse of the impeached one ends up winning nothing but egg on her face - AND the candidate who beats her for the nomination doesn't ask her to be his running mate either. :(
In solitude, on wings of prayer
My soul ascends before the throne;
My only hope of strength is where
My heart and His meet all alone.

Oh Jesus, that all who read these blessed words would know the bliss of this embrace!
Being in politics I get told all the time about the seperation of Church and State and not to bring my religion into anything... especially the way I would vote if and when elected.
People have no clue any longer about the need to put Christ and God back into politics.. We are falling further away from Gods riches and blessings in this country because we have thrown God out of everywhere.
I was on a radio show one day when I was running for state assembly last year, a caller called and asked me if my "religion" would play a part in my voting. The host said, Rus answer only if you want to, that's a tough question.
Tough? I think not.. I answered it, I said I am who I am, I will vote according to my convictions in my Heart. When you elect me, you get me. I went on for a few minutes. Two callers right after praised me for my response and thanked me for running.
I lost that race but I didn't falter from my convictions and will not. I hold very strong to my Faith, it is who I am. I will win this year, I feel it in my bones.
Of course you know they are telling you about a myth. Why don't you ask them next time to read you the part of the Constitution that says that.
You have the right attitude about your faith, hold strong to it.
I ask them that all the time and they are stunned when they find out it's not in the Constitution..
I love to argue that arguement, I win every time... : )
It's good that you're giving hope to the conservative Christian audience, imagine you must sound like a breath of fresh air to them on the radio.
I got alot of calls and emails after complimenting me on the show.
Some said it was the best I ever sounded, polished and well prepered.
I just winged it and answered the questions. It's fum and I wish I could do it more often.
Thanks Aqua..
I've yet to read the replies, but here's a big THANK YOU, all of you, in advance for dropping by!

READ: Proverbs 30:7-9
The Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11 Young people in Singapore at one time aspired to have the five Cs. Cash in the bank. Career for the future. Car to drive. Condominium to live in. Credit card to travel with.
A recent newspaper report indicated that there is now an updated version of the five Cs: Connectivity to be tuned in. Choices, and the more the merrier! Cheekdoing things our own way. Causes, because it is hip to help. Consumers who spend first and pay later.
Instead of the five Cs, Agur, the writer of Proverbs 30, asked for two Gs from God: His grace and goodness. He sought the grace of God to "remove falsehood and lies far from me" (v.8). He didnt want to fall into the trap of believing that corrupt principles, practices, and affections are acceptable.
Agur also asked for the goodness of God to provide what he neededno more and no less (vv.8-9). He was concerned that poverty could cause him to become covetous and to disgrace Gods name. But he also realized how easily riches could pamper him and cause him to deny the Lord.
Which do you desire more? The temporary satisfaction of the five Cs or the rewards of Gods grace and goodness? Is your desire to honor Gods name above all?
