it was a different time then obviously, the threat was not as great then. I believe if RR was in office now, this border problem would be over in in a short amount of time.
Ding ding ding! We have a winner...
>>>Get a grip. Every prosecutor in the justice department, every BP agent and supervisor, and every DHS official is not under the direct tutelage and influence of the President. He'd be pretty damn busy overlording the 10s of thousands of cases and prosecutions and acquitals and investigations, now wouldn't he? <<<
Did you even bother to read my post? Get a clue.
Yeah--I saw it. The mind boggles!
HUH? Do you have any sense of history at all? People have been arguing the "immigration threat" for time immemorial in this country.
Wow those Evil Corporations.. I love it how so called conservatives speak out against capitalism..
I agree. Some of us have been arguing this issue for decades. The difference is that now it has reached critical mass. It is destroying our entire culture. And it's not "just" in the border states anymore. It is now touching everyone, everywhere.
Insanity is a few steps past paranoia.
I will ask you to cite specifics in your "assumption" that *I* am a "North American Union type(s)". Since you will fail at that, let me offer you some advice: seek reality with an eye towards clarity. Marching in lockstep with any program that is not grounded in founding principles of representative democracy is a fools game. In this republic of ours, my loyalties are to the principles ensconced in our founding documents. I disdain the cult of personality that bedevils the weakminded and weakhearted. In matters of domestic policy, this current administration has kowtowed to the Left and failed to use the innate strength and power that is inherent in conservatism. Not to lay all the blame on President Bush, he was also torpedoed by an invertebrate Congress, controlled by his own party.
It is, perhaps, good that Goldwater and Reagan are gone to the great hereafter. If they knew what the inheritors of their party have wrought, they'd be gathering the great unwashed into a pitchforks and shovels brigade.
I remember people talking about Illegal immigration in the 80's.. In the 90's there was not a lot of talk about illegal immigration.. I wonder why????
Death of an imprisoned Border Agent would not cause impeachment, at least not in the Bushbots state of hypnotic mind control.
No one is speaking out against capitalism! We're speaking out loudly about corporations who break the law. Do you not believe in corporations following the law?
You get a clue. You want to bash Bush for agreeing to do the right thing, review the case for possible pardon.
You insinuate that he is responsible for how middling bereaucrats and prosecuters conduct themselves.
And what LIE did Tony Snow tell?
Sure, when you allow the media to push your buttons.
Sure you are... I believe in the rule of law, but when someone questions the need for profits, they are anti-capitalist..
Shameful, yes.
Impeachable, no,
