(CNSNews.com) - Weeks after accusing President Bush of "shameful" behavior over the imprisonment of two Border Patrol agents who shot an unarmed suspected drug smuggler along the U.S.-Mexico border, a federal lawmaker turned up the heat further Wednesday, suggesting the president should be impeached if either of the two men is murdered in prison.

It has nothing at all to do with "being too busy", I don't know much HTML. I started out on a WebTV and used if form most of the time I have been on FR. It was impossible to do most HTML stuff as a webbie, though a few, a very few users manage to do remarkable things with it. I never could; I'm not very good at computer stuff. Just be happy that I did learn, after a few years, how to make paragraphs. :-)
did these guys shoot people, yes or no?
I agree. Same reason probably why Jveritas was so upset with people here on his translations with Iraqi documents.
Do you also blame Hastert for "covering up" for Foley?
Yes, but I obviously draw a very different conclusion from the prevailing opinion on FR. I wonder why everyone agitating on behalf of those two defendants are afraid of the appeals process if, in fact, there are so many flaws in the case against them. If all those claims are true, then the men would be better off having their convictions overturned. A pardon implicitly says they were guilty, but are being given a second chance.
Oh, and even politically savvy individuals can have their own agendas. In my opinion, they see the flood of Mexicans into our state, and see a threat to their political careers. Now if they were honest about that, I could understand. But for either of them to take the monumentally disgusting tack of threatening the President with impeachment if the former agents are harmed while in jail just turns my stomach. (That's how the matter was present on the Al Rantel and John & Ken shows tonight.)
Those men are in jail because they were convicted by a jury. A judge presided over the trial, and the men had benefit of defense counsel. While I expect mindless rhetoric on forums such as this, two members of Congress definitely know better than to not only try to circumvent the judicial process, but to try to make this or any president responsible for what happens in a court of law. That is a complete violation of their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution, for no president has the right or power to interfere in a judicial process.
Fair enough.
Yes, Weldon is definitely gone away now, where he can't do so much harm. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been threatened, in subtle ways perhaps. Or not.
But I'll tell you this- if he surfaces gain, I'll be there to listen.
Should men from 1776 appear upon our soil and invoke a creed of that era, seek to dispel a government they'd fairly see as unresponsive to its citizens, and their security, they'd be hounded and arrested as treasonous and anti-government revolutionaries.
What would the Class of 1776 think of the current crop of government apparatchiks.
Who is your congressional representative?
So you agree that the illegal immigrant invasion is a big problem? Or no?

Do you just run around threads and bait people?
Name just one story that WND has been wrong on.
You can't, because there are none.
Your HERO Bill Clintoon fired 97 of them at one time.
Yawn
Correct. I saw those threads as well..
Just curious: How close have you followed this case? How much background have you read on it? Do you know who Sanchez is and how HLS even got involved in the case? or... that HLS admitted before congress yesterday they lied in this case and don't really have the evidence they claimed they had?
You;re denying that language has an effect on culture? Go read the story of Babel. It's highly significant, and not worthy of being dismissed with a xenophobe accusation.
He's a man who does what he is told.
When they are selling out our country, as I think they are, then you damn right I am. We are a nation of laws remember? and the corporations fall under the same laws as the people do. So selling out the country for the almighty dollar is ok with you? Pretty short sighted I think.
