That they are not getting any positive readings from the EPA. Naturally, smoke inhilation is not good for you, avoid it if possible. They are not doing anything to stop this fire and are letting it burn itself out. Adding water to this fire would only cause more environmental harm. The one firetruck that is there is unmanned. They are going to get someone in there to remove it when they can. He'd rather be down there working than doing the press conference. Bless his heart! They're saying the chemicals aren't too bad but are unsure of longterm hazards.

Be safe everyone down there. I'm 60 miles north of KC...keep looking for smoke but it's too cloudy up here.
My brother lives close to the fire, bet he isn't going home.

Thanks for the update.

It seems to me they are unsure of a lot of things... Hope the fire burns itself out quickly and all remain safe.

Do you (or anyone) know if they've mentioned what's in those railcars? The fire looks to be getting close to them. Are they empty?
