"Could have been worse... she could have worn a poopysuit"

Where did you get that term from?

I think that this woman's productive life was over before this incident. She's obviously mentally ill. It's very fortunate that her intended victim was so alert and able to take defensive measures. I think that this is the kind of woman that usually ends up with post partum blues and kills her kids.

Oh, I know it. I'm as dated as the reference.

Me too. I've still got the album. On vinyl.

"Vinyl? What's vinyl"

There is no dark side of the loon.

In fact, it's all dark.

Dated reference

Dude ... this is classical music we're talking about here. That's actually what some of 'em call it.

Not only is this woman's careers in the Navy and NASA over, but her life as well is she's convicted. Oh well I guess there's always flipping burgers when she gets out of jail.

Her current career may be over but there's always the chance she'll land a lucrative gig as spokeswoman for Depends, Pampers, Huggies etc.

She was wearing a trench coat in Orlando. Axel Foley would have spotted this as a dead give away she was up to no good.

From 1981:

Midn. 1/c W.T. Door: Midn. Nowak, why are you here at Annapolis?

Midn. 4/c Nowak: Sir, I'm going to be an astronaut for NASA!

Midn. 1/c Door: How do you know that?

Midn. 4/c Nowak: Sir, my father said that if I went to the Naval Academy, I would be taking up space!

Do I understand correctly that the involved man in this triangle is married and thus, carrying on affairs with two other women?

Isn't he in the military as a NASA astronaut? and isn't that against military code? What kind of creep is he? Not excusing what Lisa did but things are mysteriously silent about the details of BOB.

So true. Apparently she exceeded her potential temporarily.

The Huggy Bear evidently has two kids himself but is at present unmarried.

My local papers are carrying the info today that Shipman actually took Oefelein home to meet her family in rural Penna recently and that the family all liked him.

Ohhh baby, is this story gonna have legs.....!!!

"Poopysuit" is a slang term for the anti-exposure suits worn by aircrew members during over-water flights. They are heavy thickness neoprene, and very uncomfortable.

"Ground Control to captain Nowak
Time to take your dose of Prozac
Take your Lithium and put your diaper on."

How about:

Ground control to Major Bill
Take your Viagra and put your condom on

You've got it. Syd Barrett had a tenuous grasp on reality, and spent much of his life as a sad recluse. Our crazy astronaut will likely not be able to live so obscurely, especially if she pleads innocent to attempted murder by reason of....well, you know.

Thanks for clearing that up. I had heard that he was still currently married. Geeze, he didn't look that great to me. Certainly not worth this nonsense.
