Are you speaking about what you and your pals do?

If not, then I fail to see what point you are making.

I have called my side on their excesses.

You, however, are among those engaging in excesses on your side.

I'm not playing anyone's arguing game.

I guess that beats attempting to refute the core premise, since the core premise is accurate. Best just to launch a personal attack instead to distract from such.

the answer to a Rudy candidacy is for conservatives to put up a stronger Republican candidate, and Duncan Hunter ain't it.

Rudy's going to crash and burn, friend. If not now, in the general election for sure. And if by some miracle, he is elected, we've won absolutely nothing. In fact, socialism will move ahead faster under Giuliani than under any Democrat. Why? Because there will be no opposition to it. No conservative should support this for any reason.

I am truly amazed at how benighted and naive so many of you are. A Giuliani candidacy would split the GOP wide open. If you take comfort in the MSM polling data of-the-moment, be aware that you're living in a fool's paradise.

If Rudi Giuliani or anybody like him manages to gain the support of a majority of conservatives, it will deal our cause a more serious blow than anything that Hillary or Barack or anybody else could do, from inside the White House or outside. Liberals can only set the conservative agenda back. RINOs are attempting to define it out of existence.

Brilliant analysis. Right on the money.

Sure - that's why he's polling higher than any other Republican candidate.

For now. He's running on name recognition alone. That won't be enough to get him through the primaries. Folks will find out he's a liberal. And he'll lose.

Its not that he's wrong, he just writes the first thing that falls from his fingertips. Often its a falsehood, sometimes a baldfaced lie.

I addressed your personal attack on another poster in lieu of any discussion of the posted thread.

Self appointed body guard?

No, just someone sick of those who seek to drag all of these threads into the Backroom by engaging in attacks rather than making your own points, pro or con, about what is posted.

EVie needs defenders. They usually come away with less respect than before they came to his defense.

EV doesn't need defenders. You could use a bit of a reminder about FR etiquitte - you know, the part where it is against the rules to drag disputes from thread to thread, as you are doing here.

It would appear that the bar is pretty much laying flat on the ground for many around here now.

Well, old friend, there's still a few of us willing to keep the torch lit. Welcome to Jurassic Park.

Keep bumping the thread, troll. Wouldn't want actual FR conservatives to miss Helen Valois' brilliant dissection of Lefty Giuliani's pathetic performance.

That rating only comes from the 90% of the GOP routinely called "RINO" by the Implacables.
