What is MMM? Mainstream Moonbat Media?
IIRC it was "NOI" goons who trashed the liquor stores.

"Or even when the KKK threw their support to the ATF during the Waco seige.
I wasn't aware of that."
You might want to chack that. That was thrown out there and too convienient.

Not a shred of evidence to support any of their allegations. Not one shred.
Well I suppose it could be true if they're counting groups like code pink. They seem to be very much on the same side as the klan. David Duke still has a web page dedicated to Cindy Sheehan.

The Ku Klux Klan has experienced "a surprising and troubling resurgence" in the United States during the past year, an Anti-Defamation League report revealed Tuesday. Nope. The KKK didn't have a single word to say about the railroading of the Duke lacrosse team, which means they don't have anything to say about anything.

The thing that furstrates me is these positions are the right ones -- stop gay marriage, return this nation to Christian principals, 2nd amendment. Of course they take it to an extreme and get all the media attention. The KKK's positions are the right ones? You're kidding, right.

The power of propaganda should not be underestimated.
An anarchist group wanted to a public march to draw attention to society's "ills".
They found an incident in Toldeo where a white man in a predominantly black neighborhood had found himself in an ever hostile environment.
Gangs were spraypainting hateful intimidating messages on his fence, he confronted his neighbors' kids in his house and hauled them outside at gunpoint. I think he got arrested when he walked down the street and "flared" his gun (I may be remembering this case incorrectly in part). News of his case got propagated by a racist group in Pennsylvania, if I recall, who then planned to march in Toledo. People from outside of the community, who were not invited.
The Anarchist group drew from several states and even Canada to form a "counter march". The white supremacist group drew less than 2 dozen people and did not even march. It did not stop the Anarchists (and that is what they were, complete with an anti-cop slogan posted on their Myspace page). There were over 250 marchers in the "counterprotest" which turned into a riot.
The Anarchists got what they wanted. "evidence" of police brutality and they made a fall guy out of the black community (The Toledo Blade blamed the violence on "gangs" no mention of the political activists involved in exploiting the situation). By blaming the black community for the actions of the Anarchists (who on their "antifascist" website, list President Bush and several well known FReepers as "Fascists"), they continue to feed the beast of racial unrest.
It would be harder for the anarchists to march as "antifascists" if there weren't clear example of fascists they could point to (they want to point to the KKK but they mean all Republicans). 250 violent marchers are much scarier than 24, even if those 24 are wearing white sheets and saying hate filled things.

Exactly. There is no "KKK" as it's described here. It just does not exist in that capacity.

Blame Reno and Clinton for the Waco fiasco but don't blame the ATF ground troops. They had a job to do and lost a number of men trying to do it.I never felt comfortable with ATF bashing.
Nor do I feel good about the blind love some people-I'm not saying YOU-give Koresh,a "Christian"socialist child molester who was clearly a nutcase par excellance.Sure,Clinton and his gang overeacted terribly but its like blaming the Philadelphia Police for the MOVE disaster in 1985.Yes,they may HAVE been guilty of armed overkill but the real blame should be placed on the MOVE radicals just as the Waco disaster would not have happended without the intransagence of Koresh and his"religious"followers.

I'd agree with that. They also fail to mention any racism from other races.

The nitwits in the "journalism community" will try to tie the Klan to any conservative policy issue they hate. But the fact is that the Klan is part of the Democratic Party's legacy.
Slavery, the Klan, Jim Crow race repression, along with race obsession and a well-deserved race guilt, all are a part of Democratic Party history. Republicans should never get involved trying to defend Democratic Party history, or absolve them of their collective shame. We were the good guys in all of this and we continue to be the good guys.
They keep trying to throw the blame our way. We shouldn't let them or help them.

I don't think I agree so much with their whole "pure white race" "no mixed marriage" positions...I think my cute little Hispanic/Scotch Irish niece would disagree as well.

My point is that liberals tend to highlight the activities of the Klan only when they suit their needs.
Liberals are silent over agreeing with the Klan on the ATF at Waco and "Jewish masters" leading us to war in the Middle East.
Another FReeper said that the Klan was "right" on illeal-immigration and the 2nd Amendment. Ted Rall is also for private ownership of guns (so he can have one with the Anarchist revolt against whitey and the CEOs comes down), doesn't make any of their justifications "correct".
