Yes, I have one "Test" Falcon here in the US up close in a parking lot over a year ago, and they have that hot rod look, nice. But it begs the question, if it is so easy to bring over, why hasn't it been done already, and would you do it after the "GTO" debalicle. Remember they have bet the farm and every one of those 20 billion+ leveraged dollars count.
Silver with red(?) interior, was here for a tier supplier working on the turbo. I talked to the guy driving it.
Nice.....
The GTO failed not because it was a poor car but because GM didn't know how to market it. It's an excellent car. I wanted to buy one but all I could find were Leisure Suit Larry GM dealers to buy it from, so I bought (another) Jaguar instead.
Kill the Taurus (again), bring the Falcon over, and spend all those dollars you were going to spend on the Taurus on "re-introducing" the Falcon. Problem solved.
GM is bringing the Holden Commodore over as the G8, and the GTO will soon be back. And they may have solved their marketing problems.
