yes indeed!
Good gawd.
Done in response to Negrodamus (Paul Mooney) suggestion that Wayne Brady was liked by white people because he made Bryant Gumble look like Malcolm X.
You do have to admire his showmanship under such conditions. Judging from the angle the rain was flying by, there is a significant wind blowing out there too. If you like playing electrical guitar in the shower, this halftime was for you!
And smart enough to know it's his music that matters, not his politics.
He knows (as Laura says) to shut up and sing.
No I don't. Proud Mary was written by John Fogerty of CCR.
Well, one thing's for sure, Princess is just a little guy.
Commercials (may vary in your local market)
whent he super bowl ends... a whole new game... begins... Criminal Minds.
CSI: Miami
february 21. Jericho.
My buddy suggested that they should have had Prince sing the National Anthem and Billy Joel do the halftime show.
As children of the 80s (I was born in 76, hubby born in 77) we greatly enjoyed the halftime show.
somewhere on this stupid hard drive of mine, I have an awesome solo riff by Prince......you would not believe how good the guy is....I liked the Foo Fighters cover.
I dont think he sucks, I just know he is a good guitarist, and upsets me to see him "faking" a good guitar solo. Notice that his display didnt have drums and brass either did you? It was prefab and a "fake" concert. Only thing genuine probably was his voice.
Good to see you around...after that one bizzare vacation the mods had you on...ha!
I saw all the switches. Guy wearing all black comes up and hand him a guitar and takes the last. It's smooth when you're used to doing it a lot.
And the wardrobe malfunction before that. And the Britney/Aerosmith combo.
aACK! Katie Couric just came on my TV!
FU Katie Couric!
and no wardrobe malfunctions.
No doubt. With the Bones, you're just buying a name. I like their older recorded stuff but their concert product is nothing but a lousy copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. People are nuts for paying Streisand-esque prices to see them live.
Billy Joel in a scarf and blue suit? I do not think so.
