WTF....? We shouldn't have gone to Iraq. They didn't have WMDs....but the biggest problem is Bush didn't execute the war properly? They didn't want to do it in the first place, but think Democracy would be thriving now if one of them had been in charge? That doesn't fly.

This whole discussion about how Iran was involved in helping us set up the Afghani government, and they helped then, why wouldn't they help now? These people, both askers and answerers, fail to bring up the point that all of the was pre-amanutjob.
It all fits the basic Democrat plan, which is to criticize whatever the Bush administration does. It's also convenient, because you don't have to plan ahead or work out details among people who don't agree on an actual plan.
The only thing the Democrats fear is that the war in Iraq will still be going on during the 2008 election campaign, because then the candidate might make a mistake and talk about what they would actually do. That would require measurement and performance, rather than reaction.
