Bunch of smart, funny, well informed people here.
Don't know what I'd do without them.
Thanks for your hard work, my friend.

Thank you, you did a great job...and don't apologize for how long it was...

Your posts deserved at least that spot in the awards. As noted, you could easily have been rated higher. It was all very rushed, given the conflicting "real world" business demand of my job. I would have liked to have posted sooner and given more time to each poster. You nailed the "libtards," as you call them, with the posts I highlighted, in a way that can truly put the issues into perspective for people who don't already agree with us. That's an important ability for us on this thread and I, for one, value it when I see it.
More than that, however, I have to tell you that I am truly honored and humbled when folks like yourself, who "have seen the elephant" contribute to our understanding and awareness of what is real and provide us the direct evidence of what the DBM is lying about or ignoring.
You owe me no thanks for doing what I do here. I owe you thanks for what you have done in the real world and, by highlighting your posts in these awards, I'm also trying to give thanks for what you add to us here, what your posts bring to our "Jedi Council" on FreeRepublic. I'm in awe of so many who post on this thread and have to get over a big dose of humble just to go through this exercise in hubris when it's my turn. When I run across posts from folks like you I'm truly honored, whatever you have to say. This week you happened to be hitting on all cylinders, from my point of view, and I'm happy to include you in the list.
Plus, you're a Texan, like me (I was born in Dallas, though I only lived there for 6 months as an infant... but I've always thought of myself as a Texan!). You deserve any praise you get! We're better than the rest and it's only natural that others recognize that fact! <g>

This is probably the best job ever done by anyone judging the thread. This is truly a showpiece for a how-to on evaluating posts on FR and the Sunday thread.
I really don't know what to day it was so well done.

I totally agree on Rodguy's opinion, Phsstpok sets the bar very high, and there is such a plethora of Talent and boldness they grab the ball and run with it. Just when you think it cannot get any better it does. I cannot understand how one person can create such a work of Art as this Top Ten Posting and The honorable mentions. I remain so honored just posting in the same Company as the Great freepers that contribute so fantastically to the thread. I have talked to many People today at our Pubbie Booth at our County Fair (freezing my butt), and really pushed Freerepublic and in particular The Sunday Thread. Almost everyone was excited to learn about the Website, and they are anxious to log on and start freeping. I have not seen people this animated in a long time, but I may talk about that on the Thread tomorrow. Lots of interesting finds. It was exhilarating to talk to these people, and they are informed, excited, eager to talk and almost in "the campaign" mode. Bravo Phsstpok, your Top Ten posting and Honorable mentions are written like a best selling page turner of a Novel.

My honorable mention means a lot to me, Phsstpok, coming from you who consistently provides so much information and delightful comment.
Thank you for ALL that you do. Even if I occasionally miss the shows, I never miss reading your pre-Sunday-Shows thread!

Thank you, Phsstpok!
Although I read your Sunday Preview and usually lurk on the Sunday thread, I was unaware of the summary you provide.
I admire your skill in accomplishing this formidable task and look forward to reading it weekly.

I'm one of several folks who have been doing the awards on a rotating basis. Rodguy911 acts as our ring leader and tries to coordinate our schedule. It's a bit like herding cats, I think.
Why I do it is to try to highlight posts that I think are worth reading for those who might have missed them. Unfortunately this last week was my turn and I got massively delayed by a business trip up to ice covered Ohio. Usually we try to get this stuff posted much earlier in the week, preferably on Sunday or Monday, so that it's more current.
And then there's the fact that I posted it on the thread from two weeks ago, not last Sundays. Ah well. At least I got it posted. ;^>
