Chris is letting Webb ramble on and on and on, and not questioning his premises at all. Could it be that Webb is making so little sense, that Chris is having a hard time sorting through is garbage? Webb quoting Peggy Noonan, not good for Peggy! :-)

Edwards admitted that Congress DID get "detailed" intelligence reports.
[Recall all the cries before the 04 election that Congress did not get the same intel reports as the President?]

It just makes me sick to my stomach to see this idiot sit there and try to defend his previous statements and actions since he's been in the Senate. And it makes me sicker to think that freepers who live in VA voted for this world class jerk. He still doesn't think he acted like a jerk when he dissed the president. How stoopid can one be???

If we had any real Journalists.
Senator Webb, Operatives of the Iranian Government have been seized in Iran actively working with the Terrorists groups targeting attacks against Coalition Military personally, such as your own son.
In light of that information, what do you believe the US Government should do both in regard to the situation in both Iraq and Iran.
Webb: Blah blah blah.
Real Journalist: I sorry Senator, I was not asking what you objected to that President Bush is or is not doing. I want to know what YOU, and by extension the rest of the US Senators from the Democrat Party, would do in his place?
Webb: Blah Blah Blah.
Real Journalist: Thank you for your time Senator. I can see any addition time with you will simply be wasted hearing the latest DNC Press release repeated over and over.

Edwards says Hillary has done a remarkable job as a Senator....
Can anyone tell me what, exactly, she's done? What legislation? What leadership? Without her last name, she's as empty as Obama.

Edwards says we should bring troops home from Iraq because some of them have had multiple deployments. The answer to Edwards, et al, comes from another a quote from FR thread active this morning. It sums up the challenge facing us today:
"Somehow or other", he (Leo Amery, May 7, 1940) argued, "we must get into the Government men who can match our enemies in fighting spirit, in daring, in resolution and in thirst for victory."

Graham supports Patreus, says this is what he's been saying for 3 years. Says anyone saying this is more of the same isn't listening to Patreus.

Thanks again for posting a list of talkshow guests. The sole person worth watching is Bob Portman. That effectively frees my morning for other things. Please allow one parting shot:
"I really regret having called Barack Hussein Obama 'clean.' This has brought me no end of misery.
I know for a fact he takes a shower every morning. I'm sure he was always as fresh as Irish Spring
rocking back and forth in his boyhood madrassah just like colorful poppies sway gently in the wind.
No really, it's my construction. Bottom-line, I'm awfully sorry. In fact, I'm the sorriest candidate in the
running for the Democratic nomination for 2008, if I can make it past 2007, or even this February."

To: Laverne
He uses that stinking quote in every interview when this subject is brought up. Never mind that there are hundreds of others who have said that Webb was a disrespectful jerk to the president. God almighty, forgive those who voted for this idiot!

Edwards dismisses a long quote of Biden's by laughing at the Fluffernutter reference and avoids all of Biden's points.
This interview is a good example of what we are going to get from Timmy with dem candidates. Very softly asking the questions and letting the candidate go on and on and explain him/herself without interruption.
I predict the handling of the pubbies will be quite different.

Edwards dismisses a long quote of Biden's by laughing at the Fluffernutter reference and avoids all of Biden's points. The plus side of Biden is that he gives us plenty to laugh at and criticize. The downside is, his Obama gaffe this past week has weakened any teeth his criticism of the other candidate's policies may have had.
