FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sens. Jim Webb, D-Va., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Rep. Heath Shuler, D-N.C.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.; Sarah Ferguson, the duchess of York.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : White House budget director Rob Portman; former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack; former Lebanese President Amin Gemayel; Sens. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Richard Lugar, R-Ind.; consumer advocate Ralph Nader.
I did, too. Funny how Biden gets a pass for his remarks, but Allen started his downhill slide with macaca.
Glad you like my comment about Hagel. I've been looking for a new tag line, maybe this is it! :^)
Lynn Chaney's experience on CNN's Crossfire was a boost to her being outspoken and not taking crap off opponents. She still has that ability and she's great on the various shows she has been on in the past. If we could get them to move one state south of Wyoming, I'd love to see her run for an office in CO.
I'm not saying Newit is worse then McCain .. I'm saying he has too much baggage and you can bet the liberals will hammer him over it
Just has they will do to Rudy .. plus many on the right will jump on that Rudy wagon
The bet on McCain is about electability and being able to beat the Dems .. McCain plays both sides of the fence and both sides think they can change his mind on issues
As for the issue of the base voting third party or staying home .. they already proved to the Republican Party in the 1992, 1996 and 2006 elections that they can't count on those voters
Then there is the fact there is not much wiggle room .. especially during a time of war to give the Dems the WH
Which is why voters like myself who can't stand McCain would vote for him in the General Election because we cannot afford to give these socialists all branches of government
There are many other reasons .. those I've mentioned are just a few
Bottom line is that we need a miracle to happen and give us a candidate that will rally majority of conservative voters and can win
I really don't see that yet
Thanks...that was a bit creepy.
Does anyone notice the libs bunch up in pockets like Austin and SF, kinda like some nasty little bug feeding on a rotting carcass!
You may have that freeper uncanny sixth sense about these scoundrels. Anyone that would be friends with such a certifiably horrible person as Jim Moran has shown himself to be (alcoholic, wife beater, bully, brawler, ham handed to children, and all around left wing nut) would make a deal with Lucifer himself.
No .. but there are many independents who would vote in protest whether it be for Hellary, 3rd party ... or not voting
You might not like to hear that .. but it's a fact that we have to deal with
It's not just Biden. All the Democrats get passes on things the media would crucify Republicans over. Nor is this the first time Biden has been allowed to get away with it. I'm waiting for that idiot Jefferson of LA to be put in charge of Democrats fund raising.
I'd like to think we learned our lesson on that after 1992, but this last election showed otherwise. It is something to be wary of.....
IIRC .. Webb rec'd a large number of muslim votes
Just a little addition there, MID with your permission.
We must always remember that no matter the plan we have, the media will be actively sabotaging any of President's Bush's agenda and any republican gain with the voting public.
Yes .. I agree
I googled the populist caucus and could find no info, do you know who else is in that group?
Agreed. She has a lot of class and she stands out head and shoulders above the harpies on the left.
Yesterday he again suggested to to republicans "distance" from & defy the WH during Study commitee meeting.
Someone suggested he would be a good professor. I agree. His appearance with Hillary ended his WH ambitions, imo.
Don't feel bad about what you posted about Graham.
He has frustrated a LOT of us on FR, and especially here on the Sunday thread.
He will have an appearance like he had today..that makes you WANT him to move up in the party...but turn around the next day..and go on MSNBC and say just the opposite..and make you want to strangle him.
yep
Haley "Scalded Dog" Barbour, Republican governor of Mississippi.
