Could be a headline from the Onion, but it's just too darned implausible...
Personally I am in favor of that, but I don't understand why it is a top priority when voting for a President.
Have you picked a candidate yet EV? Just curious.
Thought you might like that headline. Brought me to a screeching halt at this thread.
"Could be a headline from the Onion, but it's just too darned implausible..."
Yes, satire has to be remotely believable in order to be effective.
Did he tell you that? Or do you dream these things up on your LSD trip through the cosmos?
Hell, I wanna collect the whole set, I hear they make a great conversation piece on the coffee table...
Yeah, I think I'll support George Allen.

Waiting for the reply. Should be interesting since we have been told to leave once again. Guess you are not allowed to think or support someone other then who the 'true' conservatives tell us to support. Ping me when you get an answer.
Morality and all of its associated ideals are rooted entirely in the presupposition some higher power defines what is correct for human behavior.
But, since we are all properly obeying the * modern interpretation * of the First Amendment, good & evil isn't the question... Good & bad, right & wrong, etc., etc., ad nausea; are all inherently religious ideals.
The modern interpretation of the First Amendment (according to the liberal-tarians) says government must exorcise all traces of religion and theism from itself. Therefore, government must never consider issues of morality and right and wrong...
So, it becomes a question of benefits versus costs. Fetus killing has its benefits to society, especially if you like to sleep late on Saturdays. But it also has its costs as well. Society (by which I mean, whoever manages to seize power) needs to evaluate these costs and decide accordingly.
The mythical rights of men and women are also meaningless. The very concept of rights is also founded in religion. Since the enlightened person is freed from any superstitions about some "God," they are free from having to worry about "rights." Only raw power counts and humans are just meat puppets for the powerful...
So has Guiliani actually announced that he is a candidate? He was a candidate before he wasn't a candidate. He was a Democrat before he was a Liberal before he was a Republican before he filed papers this week that don't identify him as a Republican. What is he, anyway?
Well, that was a serious question.
But it's nice to know you're still full of it.
I was not aware, or had forgotten that tidbit, however, I KNOW howlean is lurking about ANY time a RINO-rudy-rooting article is posted, so I'm SURE she saw what I wrote.
Then you should be keenly aware the President must hold that core belief as he evaluates his nominees for ALL court appointments.
Rudy doesn't.
As we were all told in 2004 - it's all about judge appointments - or have we so easily forgotten?
What is he, anyway?
Wow. You're peeling away most of the layers of their onion there, dude.
NOT REALLY (AND YOU DON"T HAVE TO SHOUT)!
I don't just object to Rudy for his so called "social positions"; that many have pointed out (but I have yet to see evidence of) that he WOULD wish/work for these to be decided by the states. He is still a liberal on a whole host of other issues such as gun controll, probably spending, increasing government regulations. There are many others in the 'field' that can be Rudy, and Hillary and are actually conservative; I don't care how big the band-wagon gets I (this conservative) will Not support Rudy in the Rep. Primary..!
Oh, you like the baby killin', gun grabbin' stuff?
I don't. They are the same... two liberal New York LAWYERS with fancy Madison Avenue designer labels...
Okay. Serious answer. I'm undecided. But I know it won't be any iteration of Rudy McRomney.
He is a stalking horse, setting up his fellow New York liberal Hillary Clinton to be President. He is splitting the GOP more than any candidate in recent history.
