I am not the least bit surprised. These are the same Democrats who said it was better to be red than dead back when our country was in a death struggle with communism. Is there no limit to the depth of treason a Democrat is capable of?
He's too late. Most dems have already converted and side with the islmist terrorists.
The "right path" is, of course, the path of submission to Islam. It is the path of the people God blesses (at least in Islam's twisted view). The path of people who are doomed, of course, are those who resist Islam (again, in that twisted view).
One must also remember, that when a Muslim wishes for peace and love and equality, he is speaking of the Daar es Salaam, when all the World lives in the house of Islam. There is peace, because the oppression of non-believers is complete, and we humbly accept our slave status. There is love because the Muslims are benevolent masters and we are grateful slaves. There is equality only amongst the believers.
The end to war and violence will come when victory for Islam is achieved. Until then, it is the duty of every Muslim to make war on the infidel. Oppression and occupation only refers to the oppression of the Muslim. When Islam is ascendant, the infidel slave will not be oppressed and occupied, because this will reflect the natural order of things.
I am sorry. You are just wrong. Not your fault of course. You're just ignorant. There is no shame in that, as long as nobody has told you the truth.
Educate yourself. Learn what Muslims mean when they say these things. Their statements must be read in the context of their beliefs.

. . . is a Muslim's way of saying that only Allah (Islam's name for God), via Muhammad (not Jesus) is the path of the people blessed by God. The rest of us (CHRISTIANS, BUDDHISTS, JEWS, IE., -- EVERYONE ELSE) are the people God has doomed.
These people are slippery. Their religion allows them to do anything to serve Allah, including lying, enslaving & murdering.
Democrats sure as hell don't get this, or simply don't care. And a key Republican seems to cave weekly if not more frequently. John Warner would be the most recent example.

Read the last paragraph again. Ask yourself not what you mean when you say such things, but rather what a devout Muslim means when he says such things.

I am aware of the implications the imam meant.
I am also aware that the Americans in the audience were oblivious to these overtones. Any religion or other in-group uses particular words and phrases in unique ways.
Others, not part of that group, hear the words in a meaning that fits into their own concepts. For instance, Christians assign specific meanings to the terms "ransom" and "sacrifice" that other faiths would not
So while the iman was making a triumphalist prayer to those from his own background, his audience heard only the most boring PC-ish platitudes.

So, when a believer in Islam reads this story, he can believe that either the Democrat(ic)s in Congress support the "right" path of Islam, or are so stupid that they will mumble "AMEN" at the end of a prayer that calls for their own heads to be put in the noose.
Either way, it is a stupid thing for the Democrat(ic)s to do, don'tcha think?

Radical Islam believes people can only revert, not convert.
'Revert' is actually a more appropriate term than 'convert', since all human beings are born pure. By embracing Islam, one returns to the original and sinless state in which God created him or her. However we have used the term convert to avoid any possible ambiguity.
Hence, you reject Islam, why do you need your head for?
