"THEN (mark my words) there will be all kinds of hand wringing, wailing, bombast, finger-pointing and accusations made by Democrats against Republicans, claiming that the Bush Administration failed to protect America,..."
I can write the script now. It will be: 'see we told you Bush didn't know how to protect America. Instead of invading Iraq, we should have been using those troops to protect our homeland. And, furthermore, if Bush had focused on Bin Laden instead of invading Iraq...."

These things are most likely to happen after the next election when presumably we will have a Democrat in office and a Democrat Congress. Reaction will be to clamp down on Christians and other "bigots" and to protect the Islamic community while the "proper authorities" are dispatched to bring the individual perps "to justice." Citizens will face civil actions for denying the civil rights of
terrorists Mohammedan citizens by saying things about mohos or even worse.Eventually they will realize that their own power is actually at risk and the clampdown will begin in earnest with a "Declaration of War" that will suspend the Constitution while the Christians and other conservatives are neutralized and while, incidentally, the mohos will be exterminated. We will be free domestically of the paynim menace but also of the Constitution and some other stuff.
Suspension of the Constitution is not hyperbole. That is what a Declaration of War does and it gives the Government control of the economy for the duration and prosecution of the "War." Check out FDR and WWII and refer to Lincoln and the Civil War. Does anyone think the war will ever "end" if a Democrat government "Declares" it?

THE MUSLIMS HAVE GOT TO GET OUT OF THIS COUNTRY.No Republican will ever do what is necessary. Republicans worry too much about the Constitution and about having the approval of Democrats and MSM. A Democrat will eventually do it but only after many incidents and only if many of those incidents are major and the Democrat president begins finally to fear that the mohos are a threat to Her and then the reaction will be as from one whose trusted ally has stabbed her in the back. See reply #64.

It is not a War on Terror. It is the Islamic War or the Long War and it includes the Southern Front, which at this moment is undefended and the enemies are being cordially invited to cross it to receive an "Amnesty."

And the governor of Macon, GA just announced his conversion to Islam. Whatchawanna bet this is the beginning of a Phenomenon with less prominent and then progressively more prominent blacks converting? Then what does that do to our problem with domestic mohos?

And the governor of Macon, GA just announced his conversion to Islam.
These sort of folks are the ones that scare me.
When Islam was rampaging and trying to take Europe in the 700s, Christians
might convert to save their necks and/or to get the tax-relief of
being a Muslim (compared to what they were paying to their Christian overlords).
Guys like this that convert are either
1. Sensing a large demographic shift to Islam in the USA
and/or
2. True believers (that have latched on to the Bravo Sierra about
Islam being the code for "the oppressed" like Palestinian
"freedom fighters").
The ones I do fear the most are the "hidden Muslims" that might infiltrate
attain powerful/sensitive government positions in the USA.
That sort of deception is a time-honored Islamic classic.

I have yet to hear about a terrorist Quaker or Mennonite cell.
Kudos to your wife for her kindly approach to getting more than a fair
share of inconvenience.
I'm sure it's little consolation, but starting around 1997, there was
a fifty-fifty chance I'd get the "Sir, do you mind if we do a little
extra inspection of your belongings?" when I flew from Los Angeles
to my family/friends in Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas.
I guess my bland northern-European looks, spotless record with law
enforcement, business cloths and bachelors degree from a conservative
church-affiliated college somehow screamed "He might be a drug runner...
or a Serbian Christian terrorist" to the security officials.
While I laughed about it, it has converted me to a "fly only when
necessary" traveler.
