they need to split the Democratic vote. Good point. So you're saying that the Republican base must be prepared to compromise some of their cherished positions to keep the White House. That's an interesting scenario. What is most important to Republicans, to maintain the reins of government and get some of our programs passed, or to lose the election and get none of our programs passed?
