The issue is that Rudy claims the Catholic faith and then publicly and flagrantly flaunts it. Ronald Reagan wasn't Catholic, didn't claim the mantle of the Faith and therefore isn't offensive from the Catholic POV for being a false representative of that faith. Unlike your crossdressing adulterer bot Rudy who also supports abortion and grabbing guns.
