I beg to differ. When I want my computer (mac iBook) to do something it's not set up to do (video conferencing) I just spend a little time on the net, head to my nearest Staples, and buy the product that is labled "Windows Only". Oh, ya, and I love to ask the clerk if it will work on a Mac. They always say "no", then I tell them if I can't make it work in 2 days, I'll bring it back. I very rarely take it back!
Heck, even when my computer says "Hey, I can't do that, I don't have enough memory or hardware or whatever" I just tell it to shut up and work....then it does it!
That's great, it's what distinguishes us computer geeks from chat-room inhabitants, but the vast majority of computer users would give up after two minutes.
My point stands.
