Dick Morris Plans to 'Run' Against Hillary
NewsMax e-mail | 2 Jan 07 | Ronald Kessler

Posted on 02/02/2007 9:37:02 AM PST by seanmerc

Former Bill Clinton aide Dick Morris is bringing out a documentary in September to expose Hillary Clinton as a "phony."

Morris told the American Spectator Breakfast that the documentary will present Hillary's conflicting statements side-by-side and will portray her disingenuous statements and misrepresentations alongside the facts. The documentary will also depict Bill Clinton's involvement in controversial matters ranging from his pardons as president to his work for Dubai.

"You have to get to the fundamental fact of her phoniness, her lack of credibility." Morris said. "That she is pretending to be something she is not. I think you can best explain that by showing her being contradictory."

Morris and former congressional staffer David Bossie have been soliciting donations for the project.

"If you liked how the Swift Boat Veterans turned the tide against John Kerry, you understand how a top Clinton aide can turn the tables and stop a Clinton-style liberal from becoming the next president of the United States," Morris wrote in the solicitation.

Especially in key primary states, Morris and Bossie plan to rent movie theaters where the documentary will be shown. In effect, Morris will be running against Hillary, who has announced that she is running for presidency.

"With Hillary, scandals are a gift that keep on giving," Morris told NewsMax after his talk.

As an example of Hillary's disingenuousness, Morris will feature Hillary's NBC interview with Jane Pauley on Sept. 17, 2001. Trying to engender sympathy, Hillary told Pauley that when the two airplanes hit the World Trade Center, her daughter Chelsea was at Battery Park near the towers.

"She'd gone for what she thought would be a great jog," Hillary said. "She was going down to Battery Park, she was going to go around the towers. She went to get a cup of coffee — and that's when the plane hit."

"She was close enough to hear the rumble," Pauley said.

"She did hear it. She did," Hillary said.

"And to see the smoke . . ."

"That's right," Hillary responded, saying she did not locate her daughter until two hours later.

"At that moment, she was not just a senator, but a concerned parent," Katie Couric said the next day on NBC's "Today."

It was a great tale, but Hillary had made it up from whole cloth. Her arrogance was so profound that she did not coordinate the story with Chelsea, who wrote an article for "Talk" in which she described what she had been doing that day.

According to Chelsea, she wasn't jogging at the World Trade Center. Rather, she was miles away in a friend's apartment on Park Avenue South. She watched the events unfold on TV. Hillary told the story with a straight face.

Despite his own planned efforts, Morris said he thinks Hillary will be the next president and Barack Obama will be her vice president. On the GOP side, Morris believes a dark horse who is considered by the conservative base to be more ideologically pure than the leading candidates will be nominated to run against her.

"I think the field will come down to the pygmies," Morris said. "It's going to be [Mike] Huckakbee, [Sam] Brownback, [Jim] Gilmore, [Duncan] Hunter, [Tom] Tancredo, [Tommy] Thompson."

As astute as Morris is, that analysis seems to ignore the fact that only Mitt Romney, John McCain, and Rudy Giuliani have the ability to raise the money needed to win. It also seems to overlook the question of whether a candidate whose record presents absolutely no issues for conservatives can win in the general election.

Referring to Morris' picks, an influential Washington conservative who did not want to be named said, "Forget about them winning the general election."

HClinton has used the mantra, "The most famous politician that you don't know" or words to that effect. She is saying that once people get to know her, they will not think that she's an evil ice queen.

Dick Morris knows her very well. He knows alot about the private side of the Clinton's life. It is very useful information. It is also a credible record of her criminal actions over a course of nearly twenty years. I hope Morris gets the documentary out. In the 24/ news world, it is so easy to forget what this evil woman has done time and again. Dick Morris knows where the bodies are buried, and that makes him worth listening to about all things Clinton.

>>>Expecting the GOP to get a coherent and persuasive message across to the American public may be a tall order.<<<

If Morris can do what ought to be done by the dolts at the RNC, more power to him. Everyone else is asleep; RNC, NRSC, NRCC, House Repub....ie: Boener & Co., Senate Repub. McConnell & Co.....

Time for a strong Conservative to step up and take over. Morris ain't it...but if he's willing to nail Hillary, he's doing more than all the above Pubbie Dolts.

Rudy's personal opinion on abortion is a non issue.

No it's a huge issue. It defines his character. Because of his pro-abortion, pro-sodomite stance I would not vote for Rudy for dog catcher, let alone for POTUS.

Good points. But he needs to remain vigilant.

You will if he's nominated.

yeah, I'm sure the poster will simply vote for Hillary if the GOP puts up a pro-abort, pro-gay rights candidate. That would make everything all better...

You put the bottom two pictures in the wrong order -- the horse should be to the RIGHT of Hillary -- not because the horse is more conservative, but because it's better-looking even at that angle.

No I won't. If the GOP nominates Rudy, then I will vote for a third party candidate. Any candidate that supports abortion and sodomy does not get my vote.

"Purity over Victory!" Rudy is our side's best shot at keeping the WH. You're being disillusional if you think anyone else on the R side has a change. It will be a repeat of '96 with anyone else other than Rudy. But I guess you'd rather see the Hildabeast sitting in the Oval Office, than "taint" your vote by voting for someone less than 'pure'.

ONLY Bob Dole had the class to do that and he was chided into resigning by the democrats.

When it comes to the issue of life and death, yes I will not "taint my vote". I really don't care who wins the WH if the two major party choices are both pro-abortion, pro-sodomite, anti-gun socialists. If that makes me out of step with the party above principle crowd then so be it. I really could care less.

I hope Dick Morris is luckier than the other couple dozen of people who had nasty dirt on the Clintons.

He better have good luck, or he might come down with that fatal Arkancide that befell the others!

Her promise to end the war if she is elected will sink her like a stone. Would Bill have been so simple?

Sheer idiocy and no better than the loony left wing losers.

Go ahead, you show 'em pal, and you'll get President Hillary.

To hell with what's best for the country, just as long as you get your own way.

Grow up.

Another "party over principle", "win at all costs" Republican aren't you? And you wonder why the GOP lost in '06 and will likely lose in '08 if they don't change their tune.

While you say "grow up" to me, I would tell you, and others like you, to get some strength in your convictions. Obviously you do not believe in something strong enough that you are willing to take a firm stance. That shouldn't surprise me though, since that characteristic is seen throughout the GOP today.

First of all, I'm not a Republican and I always thought this was a CONSERVATIVE site not a Republican site.

Second, I have rock solid "convictions", the greatest of which is to see that this country wins the War on Islamic Fascism. That is my NUMBER ONE conviction and I will not help a scumbag like SHILLARY get elected and appease the fascist scum.

I am also able to understand that the only way Rowe v. Wade will be overturned is through the SCOTUS and am very comfortable with the idea that Rudy will appoint strict contructionists to the Supreme Court.

If you believe that "the sodomites" and the "abortionists" are the biggest threat to this country, then go ahead and throw your vote away and help The Whore get elected.

Hillary should resign from the Senate before running for POTUS.

Should, but won't... I believe that Bob Dole did, but I'm not positive. But I know that Lieberman, Edwards, nor Kerry resigned from the senate before they ran.
