London Islamic School removes offensive chapters in textbooks

Snip: An Islamic school in London has announced it is removing offensive chapters from its textbooks which describe Jews as "monkeys" and Christians as "pigs".

The head of the Saudi-funded King Fahad Academy in west London had faced increasing scrutiny from the UK media over the issue this week.

Islamic Jihad updates rocket launchers

Snip: The new launcher, developed by Islamic Jihad, can fire up to six rockets at a time, the group said. Previous launchers had been able to only fire single missiles.

The group said it used the new launcher to send 10 of its homemade rockets toward the Sufa cargo crossing on the Israel-Gaza border.
