Lurker or coincidence? I posted during one show while Savage was talking about his dog Teddy that Savage should post a pic of Teddy for us to see. Next day it was on his website. Thanks Savage!
I'm a lawyer but that isn't my field of expertise. I think back in the day there was a cause of action in civil law for what was called 'alienation of affection,' but I don't think that's a fixture of modern law at all.
Doc Savage lurks! No doubt in my mind! ;-)
I think the reason the cuckolded husband isn't upset is because he is glad to get rid of her. She looks a bit the worse for wear, in my judgment.
'alienation of affection,'
Yes, that was it.
I guess that seems kind of quaint now....
Yep. Did you just hear Savage holler at his crew? Hahaha!
No, I think he was super pissed, just said what he said to save face.
He quit the day he had the confrontation with Gavin. THAT day.
To the guys on the thread:
Isn't there an unwritten Male Friend law that you don't sleep with your friend's wife?
We girls have that kind of law...
The ducks thing reminds me of one of the first episodes of The Sopranos with Tony and the ducks in the pool. I loved that episode!
Well, lets just say it's possible to be upset and relived at the same time. ;-)
That is part of the male code but too many males don't sign on to the code.
Well, that doesn't disturb and piss me off as much as this (which isn't surprising):
Millions in Iraqi Reconstruction Aid Money Missing
http://bbsnews.net/article.php/20070201114834562
It's bad enough that the American taxpayer is pretty much the sole contributor in "rebuilding" Iraq, and now said taxpayer monies have been wasted, let alone missing! I betcha much of that money is in the hands of the Islamofascist "insurgents" bent on killing our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now President Bush has OK'd $1.2 billion more dollars to replace the funds that have been wrongly spent and missing, due to corruption in the Iraqi government. Well, at least they're learning the American way of governmental spending. LMAO!
Translation, I want to keep my current job and position of power. San Francisco values is 'if it feels good do it', no need to be sorry about it.
BTW interesting handle you have, haven't seen you on the thread before, welcome to the TSN thread, normally a PC-free zone, except that which is instituted by Free Republic policy.
God bless Kewlhand tek, Jeremiah, B-S-B, mosquewatch.com and all other former infidels who have fallen victim to Free Republic sensitivities.
check this out:
Over at BeyondChron, Randy Shaw reports that "neither city department heads nor the mayor can have a sexual relationship with a subordinate under city ethics laws, as well as under state sexual harassment law. Thats what will likely lead City Attorney Dennis Herrera to file charges against Newsom by the end of the week."
Fog City Journal reports that "Sources reveal a sexual harrassment lawsuit is being considered by Ruby Tourk against the Mayor's Office and/or the City of San Francisco."
Ken Garcia contributes this tidbit: "Ruby Tourk took a leave of absence for nearly three months last year before returning briefly and then going off to work for Benefit magazine."
If Ruby Rippey-Tourk is considering a retaliation lawsuit, we've been told that the statute of limitations is six months from when she left the job. Reportedly she left for the leave of absence around mid-May. That suggests that she left for good around August or September. That would place the deadline for filing a retaliation suit around February or March. If anyone has any clarification about any of that, please post in the comments. Stay tuned . . . .

I was here ages ago, before there was this official thread.
I don't sleep with anyone's wife, but that does remind me of a Clint Eastwood movie (forget which one) (back when Clint was cool, he's just a putz now).
Clint had shot his wife because he caught her in bed with his best friend. He was then asked, "Why didn't you shoot the guy, too?"
Clint said, "I couldn't do that, he was my best friend!"
I know Casey and McCain had a go around today
