SARAJEVO, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Bosnian Serb war crimes fugitive Radovan Karadzic is hiding in Russia, a Bosnian newspaper reported on Thursday citing an intelligence source, but Russian authorities denied the comments.
"We got this information by wiretapping a telephone conversation abroad," an unnamed official of the State Investigation and Protection Agency told the daily Oslobodjenje.
The Russian embassy in Sarajevo denied the allegation and the Federal Migration Service in Moscow said it had no information pointing to Karadzic hiding in Russia.
"We have no information to that effect," a migration spokesman told Interfax news agency. "We have not issued entry documents to Karadzic."
Bosnian Serb wartime leader Karadzic and his military commander Ratko Mladic are the two men most wanted by the United Nations war crimes tribunal in The Hague for atrocities committed during Bosnia's 1992-95 war.
They are indicted for genocide in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys and the 43-month siege of the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, during which about 11,000 people were killed.
They remain at large 10 years after the U.N. tribunal indicted them. Mladic is believed to be hiding in Serbia while Karadzic's whereabouts are disputed.
U.N. Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte, who is leaving her job in September, appealed to the European Union on Wednesday not to resume talks on closer ties with Serbia until it hands over Mladic and Karadzic.
So, at first they said he is in Bosnia, than, in Montebegro, than in Serbia, now in Russia.

Perhaps aid should be cut to the Bosnian government for failure to do enough to bring Mladic and Karadzic to trial! The government considers them "Bosnian" citizens, don't they?

In reality, the siege of Sarajevo was conducted by Bosnian Muslim Army- citizens of Sarajevo were not allowed to leave the town. They were kept as Muslim hostages, as human shield to protect Muslim garrison in Sarajevo. This is war crime per Hague convention of land warfare" The bulk of "about 11000 people killed" were Serbs and Muslims muredered by Bosnian Muslim Army, police and paramiitary thugs in Sarajevo.
As of "8000 Muslim men and boys" - even UN Kangaroo kourt in The Hague knows that this is bold faced lie. It is not the issue of the exact figure, even 100 people dead is a crime but of INTENT to invent genocide in order to exonerate Bosnian Muslims of starting civil war in Bosnia with American help.
The purpose of repetition of fabrications is to reshape historical record. And because that particular historical record includes Bosnian Muslim crimes under Hitler, it is perfect example of NAZI REVISIONISM at work.

Their crime? They did not pay the muslim Green Berets their rate for leaving... so, they shot them and the Bosnian Serb soldiers risked their lives retriveing the Serb man and muslim wife. Where were they heading too? Off to Belgrade to live...hmmm a muslim woman moving to Belgrade, how can that be? Were'nt the bad Serbs exterminating all things non-Serb? I think not as it was the opposite.

If you hade 2,000-3,000 German Marks (1,800-2800$) you could pay some Muslim Bosnian commander to let you go from Sarajevo.
Two of them payed money to local muslim warlord, but not to local Muslim snipers, cause usualy they would shoot you if you dont bribe them too.

yep..that was about the price... that was a tragedy pinned on the Serbs.
Sarajeve was like III reich at the end of the war. Single purpouse of fighting was to kill remained Jews in Ghetto before total colapse.
Sarajevo was concentration kamp for Serbs, and Serbs could do nothing else to liberate Serbs from Sarajevo but to attack muslim positions.
Anyway, general Mladic did stroke a deal and helped Jews to escape Sarajevo. Now liberal western/ British media are pinning it also on Ariel Sharone and Israelis that they in return gave arms to Serbs and Mosads info about Muslims.
