Morris: Hillary will be ‘worst president we’ve ever seen’

Dick Morris is no fan of Sen. Hillary Clinton, having spent much of the past decade writing and speaking out against her. And he took his always-quotable opinions to the offices of Americans for Tax Reform Wednesday at a breakfast sponsored by The American Spectator.

Dick’s greatest hits:

» Although Barack Obama is an “exciting phenomenon,” he is the equivalent of “political stem cells: You can make him into any tissue you want.”

» “It is in the national interest that, if there is a Democratic president, that it not be Hillary.”

» “The Republican field is like the New York Yankees: They’ve got a pitching rotation of really great names who are 45 years old and who probably won Cy Young Awards when they were younger. But they’ll have a sore arm by the World Series and will end up on the [disabled list]. Republicans need to look to the minor leagues.”

» He laid out the political future: “Hillary will be the next president, and she’ll be the worst president we’ve ever seen.” No matter what happens, the situation in Iraq will “assure that the GOP gets massacred in 2008 congressional elections.” In 2010, the Republicans will take back the Congress — “Hillary will give Republicans the same gift she gave them in 1994” — and they’ll win the presidency in 2012, but thanks to demographic shifts favoring Republicans (namely the rising Hispanic and African-American populations), “that will be the last Republican president we’ll ever see.”

Worse than Jimmy? I remember Jimmy - he was truly awful ....

Jimmy was well-intentioned, but incompetent. He wanted to do the right thing, but what that was always eluded him.

Hillary is just evil. She'd sell out her daughter to get a political advantage.

Their idealistic goals are clouded by their complete lack of logical thinking.

Case in point, here in Oregon, my dem senator, Wyden, is asking the taxpayers of America to support Oregons schools, state and county employees and roads a highways because we cannot log 51% of our state as it belongs to the feds and they will not allow us to harvest our natural resources.

It seems to a liberal, it is better to lay off county employees, not too bad of an idea, and cut schools funding, etc instead of letting Oregon manange its natural resource, timber. We would be rolling in the dough if we could just log, replant, log replant, they do it in the other 49% of the state with privately owned timber properties.

The statistics are more trees are growing now in the NW than at the turn of the century.

This bill Wyden is introducing has other Senators from Washington and California, on board. Taxpayers of America pay up, because we want to save the trees!!!! And if you do not pay up, so we can keep schools open, we are going to cut the police first!!!

I was talking to my uncle about this subject. Bill was a scum bag but you would still like to hang out with him. You would keep your hand on your wallet the entire time but you would have a great time.
Hillary is just a vile woman. She is shrill and angry.

I believe Dick is wrong on this one. Hillary won't be elected.

Her comments in Iowa were a preview of what happens when she doesnt have a scrpit in front of her.

She demands that Bush end the Iraq war. From the lefts standpoint, that is absurd, it would allow Bush to regain some of his lost popularity. Additionally from the lefts standpoint, Bush started the war, Bush mismanaged the war, how can you expect him to end it, he is too stubborn and incompetent. She showed a total lack of leadership with her comment.

Her comment comparing Bill to and evil man and this she can deal with evil men, shows either her horrible sense of humor or she is a blockhead

Otherwise I'll be paranoid for 4 to 8 years about her having the power to destroy Western Civilisation.

We devote endless hours and energy here to political analyses, discussions and calculations regarding Hillary Clinton based on what we all consider to be, in a generalized consensus sort of way, the "real world". However, I have come to believe that there is more than just politics involved.

From a strictly logical perspective, and looking at her life and her actions objectively, there is simply no reason for such a "person" to be in the position she is in, to be poised to grasp such power. Although she possesses a degree of the type of vicious feral cunning typical of predators, she did not arrive there through dint of her own ability and intelligence. She is where she is only because countless others have "covered" for her, many even to the extent of their own personal destruction and deaths.

I believe Hillary is the chosen instrument of a power greater than her, for a far more evil purpose than even she could conceive. There have been others such as this in history, e.g. Mohammed. I fear for my country.

I wasnt sure about this six months ago but it looks as though there wont be a recession before the 2008 election....the soft landing has probably been achieved like it was in 1985 and 1995. We'll probably see growth through 2010

This means teh next President will likely end uo with an economy similar to GHW Bush in 1990-92, with a recession in the 2010-12 period exasserbated by the 2010 massive tax increases.

As for the demographic changes Morris mentions, teh Black population is not forecast to rise as a % of the population though the year 2050, but actually fall from 12% today to about 10% in 2050.....Black women have fertility rates that are about at replacement 2.0

I doubt that is true...CA which has 50% white population elected a GOP gopvernor twice and in Canada, where the Liberal party is the natural governing party, the Conservative managed to win......What will happen is the DEMs will become the natural governing party of the US, winning about 3/4 Presdiential elections, but to say the GOP will never win another election is absurd. It is unsupported by political history and the fact parties can change.

youre exactly correct..........Does anyone think that if Woodrow Wilson or Calvin Coolidge were transported from 1920 to today that either would win even 100 electoral votes????

We'll still have GOP Presidents but they will be like Arnold or Guliani and theyll be still called conservative because based on the political environment of the year 2030, they probably will be.

So Hillary is a tool of Satan????

Actually I can see claerly where she is, it isnt too hard....she is the spouse of an extremely popular and in many people's minds succesful President who governed over peace and propserity. She was elected 54-46 in a state that supported Gore 66-33 in 2000.

What's so hard to see?

If Laura Bush ran for Senate in Tx, she'd win and if she wanted to be the GOP nominee in 2016, she'd have a good shot

I hate to say it but I think Hillary will win.
People don't seem to understand that government control of everything will cost you money and freedom.

People are just to offended that some make more money, have bigger houses, drive SUVs. The government will solve all your problems.

Of course Hillary is worse than Carter. That you would even ask such a question shows how clueless you are about the pure evil that the Clintons represent.

How many people did Carter murder to achieve his goals?

Better to have Carter as dictator for life than Hillary as president for a year. Carter is inept, incompetent. The American people hated him. He could get nothing enacted. Hillary as president would be the end of America. She would get everything she wanted put in place.

Until enough people decide again that they are sick and tired of the government stealing their money and then wasting it.

Laura Bush would not win a race for senate in Texas. She is considered a great first lady and a fine person, but we don't like her politics, especially in the primary.

Every time I read discussions of Hillary for President, I think along the same lines as you have laid out. She is sponsored by the billionaires who will provide support way beyond anything imagined by the voters. The money in Hillary's war chest cannot buy the Presidency but the behind the scenes moguls with their limitless financial resources and international power can do so. She can be stopped if we have a strong candidate who will likewise get support beyond federal campaign limits. I pray that there are American patriots with the same resources as our anti American enemies and who are as dedicated to the preservation of this Republic and the freedom of all of us as Hillary's backers are to the destruction of our great country.

John Edwards will be the next president --- unless he's hit by some major, unforeseen scandal. Rudy could beat hillary, but probably no one can beat Edwards. But it could be very, very close.

Hillary as president = Fonda, Sarandon, el al, as overnight guests in the Lincoln bedroom. What an awful thought.
