For the original women's treaty see "Lysistrata". Beardsley's illustrations to it are also very enlightening.

be on the verge of resurrecting a treaty that could be used to require U.S. compliance with liberal policies, such as a right to abortion and legalization of prostitutionI think it would be a good idea to bring this in front of Congress. Nothing like a good fight that they would lose, and would bloody them badly.

"More than 180 countries have ratified the treaty"
Which means that all or nearly all of the 50+ Muslim majority nations have ratified this treaty, since there are around 190 recognized nations (some with fewer than 100,000 citizens).
This means that it is the usual UN garbage, since obviously few if any of the Muslim-majority nations have taken any big strides for "women's rights" in the 25+ years since the treaty was signed..... it would be ludicrous for the USA to ratify any such UN b.s. which would just turn into another club for socialist whackjob elitists to use against us.

The treaty -- the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) -- was signed by President Carter in 1980, but was never ratified by the U.S. Senate and has been in limbo ever since.Enough said ...

Someone has poured a box car of Draino down the US drain and we are swirling to our demise. All the muzzies need do is bide their time and we will implode without their help.
Jimmy Carter should be put on a slow boat to China.

As I recall, the Democratic majority is pretty slim in the Senate, so which RINOs are going to put this piece of crap over the top???
