"It's not like the family would get any money out of the guy."
Right...So they will release him and he will back on the road driving without a license in a few days.
It's more proof there ARE two sets of laws. One for us and another for them.
No wonder they love it here so much.
sw
Yes, but what about Dingle-Norwood?
"They drive with no licenses, no insurance, and ignorance of our rules of the road, and half the time, if not more, they are DUI."
When I used to live south of Memphis, one ran over a little girl at a school bus-stop because he tried to pass on the right on a two-lane road. He did not stop after he killed her. He was caught, though, along with the other illegals who were in the van.
He is already back on the streets or perhaps in a hospital.
He will not be charged or deported.
That's going to happen either way.
Be mad at law enforcement for sitting on the side of the road giving tickets to those who they know who can pay them, instead of running the country poor running in illegals.
That's where your anger belongs. We wouldn't have these problems if the laws of the land were enforced, from every level of government.
Kicking a rich democrat farmers butt might help a little too
We'll having even one bear is illegal in most jurisdictions. If you want a bear, go to the zoo.
The issue IS illegals. Three out of the last five people that I know who have been involved in accidents have been hit by ILLEGALS. But, I guess, according to you, they would have been hit by someone anyway. The fact is, they broke the law by coming, and don't give a crap about any other of our laws.
The man who was killed was in a very dangerous situation. Illegal immigration has nothing to do with this tragedy.
The idea is that that person should not have been there in first place, just like driving without insurance, the vehicle should not have been on the road, this person should not have been in the country.
Three out of the last five people that I know who have been involved in accidents have been hit by ILLEGALS.
But according to you if we were to close the borders Three out of Five auto accidents would never occur.
I agree, but I am not hopeful that Bush's ICE will deport him.
Indeed. I am very disappointed in this.
I am of the "Enforcement First" thought in immigration.
Deport.
Sort things out afterwards.
Like the other 12 Americans who are killed in traffic accidents with illegals everyday? No this man would still be alive if the illegal alien wasn't in the country illegally and driving illegally.
Illegal immigration sure has something to do with whether this guy had insurance. I betting he didn't.
Rest in peace.
"three out of five auto accidents would never occur"
Interesting point. Too bad we will never get to see a study to prove it.
this person should not have been in the country.
I agree, but I am not hopeful that Bush's ICE will deport him.
I beleive he will be deported eventually, but not fast enough for me.
The way I see it is they are treating illegal imigration as a law enforcement problem, when it is really a national security problem. And yes President Bush seems weak on domestic issues dealing with Mexico.
Maybe the trooper meant they didn't plan to charge the man who was killed with anything. That's the only way the statement makes any sense at all.
