I think his home has it in its deed that it can not be resold to a black person. I swear that I heard this a few years ago. Could well be --- any homes in nicer "older" neighboohoods most anywhere in the country had those clauses in the original deeds. They are called "restrictive covenants" and are totally meaningless and unenforceable today and have been since the 1950s.
