He knows it cant happen too many big names in the field, not enough money or experience in Tony the Tigers corner but he senses something there. Something the Snowmans got that no one else on the Republican landscape, with the possible exception of Newt, has right now.
Magic.

"Tony would be spectacular." .............Hmmmmmm? He's a celebrity and a handsome guy who is young and articulate. Yeah, I see some voter appeal there. Soccer moms would love him. The "Jay Walking" crowd may be attracted to him too. He may also get the yoot vote. But outside of being a reporter and a prompter reader what are his qualifications when it comes to running the entire country? Please no answer like "more than Hillary". Has he ever held a government post?

Why not Jimmy Swaggert ? After all, Dubbya has warmed up the crowd for him by looking into Putin's soul.

Has he ever held a Govt. post outside of the one he is in now? That should have been the question on my previous post.

From what I've seen the longer they're in the worse they get.

The condescension on this thread is amazing. Usually comes from jealous people who can't shine Tony's shoes.

Ah, correction noted.
I have no idea, but, candidly, previous government experience, outside of military combat arms service (and medical, et al ), is a strike against a candidate IMHO.

Unlike most of us on FR who are political junkies, the vast voting public will cast a vote for someone the LIKE. I can't think of anyone, in either party who would be more appealing than Tony. I like Newt... and Romney, Hunter and a few others. But, what really matters is what will the vast voting majority like. Obvious answer: Tony Snow... hands down. But alas, I am a dreamer.
To: vortigern
Neither had George Washington.
But I see your point. He has no executive experience. But then again, neither has Obama.

He worked for the first Bush presidency. I can't remember what he did. This is his second trip through a gov. job.

I think you are correct. He was a speechwriter. He may have even worked for Reagan.
