I dont see what difference it makes how you get there. When I was 35 or 40 I rode to Daytona every year.
Way back when you could actually find a spot to park on Main street. Now at 65 I trailer. Anybody that doesnt like it can kiss where the sun dont shine.


Different people have different priorities. Mine is getting there safely and having fun. Being rained on ,snowed on frozen solid is not one of them. Not any more. I have been there and done that, the younger troops can have it now.

I hear ya.

The main reason I haul my bike is because I take my camper. To me, its more of a camping trip than a bike ride. I, like you, have been going to these rallies for years and years, so riding across state is nothing new and comfort has taken over.

There are other times when me and HottieGirl will take a bike on a 300 mile ride. But it is planned out as a ride.
