He was deeply moved by Liam's sufferings and he didn't just calm us and provide advice, he offered to make Liam's recovery the focus of his prayers on his annual retreat.

"He is a deeply spiritual man but humble and reticent. He would never, ever volunteer this, but in 1995 he went on a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk, fasted and devoted his week's prayers to Liam's healing."

Liam, who had no idea he was being prayed for so intensely, blamed Mr and Mrs Cairns for his incarceration and no longer kept touch. "But on the last day of Rowan's pilgrimage, at 5am, Liam woke suddenly and, he says, "just knew he had to write to Mum and Dad". He started to get better then,' said Mrs Cairns.

It's good to hear such news about Archbishop Williams. He's not the gay-loving monster that many had feared at the start.

Not only is it horrific that children be put to adoption by homosexual couples, but why was the boy advertised as 'suitable for a single man'? Why not a single woman?

The whole idea of a 13 year old boy being advertised with a picture to be put in the control of a 'single man' is the more blatant advert for a paedophile, and whoever decided on that policy is the one to be put in the dock and seriously questioned.

If homo couples HAVE TO be allowed to adopt children, then surely giving them a child of the opposite sex would be safer. Obviously, the whole idea is outrageously sick, anyway.

Society refuses to face the truth about the subterfuge going on in the name of "acceptance of different lifestyles." Just wait till the lobby begins to justify "love" with younger and younger same-sex partners. You see, the age of consent is the next barrier to the purveyors of evil. They got their hooks into the politicians, the Church, the courts. All is going well. Sleep softly, society. Sleep softly.
