I can't count the number of times that religious folks have been likened to the Taliban on FR--sometimes by some of the very people complaining about the "Rudy-Nazi" comment.

You've completely mischaracterized the use of that phrase; most people here are "religious folks" -- just most of them aren't so far to the right as a few people here are.
