I was only referring to the reference to J.C. Watts in the post I responded to. Biden has, undoubtedly, insulted scores of blacks. But his definition of mainstream would not include anyone who strayed from the DemocRAT party.

Joe Biden won't retire. He is pretty bulletproof in Delaware as far as his Senate seat goes. He is a vain man and this foolish statement will hurt.

He should be asked what he meant. His answer should be good for a laugh. The people in his district should be reminded of this shame on their intelligence, given that they voted for him.

The media will tell us it was just a big misunderstanding.
In this instance-- can somebody please inform me what exactly constitutes a "black" person. The subject here doesn't precisely satisfy my notion of "black". Could he not also be considered "white", too? How is one's ethnicity singularly quantified when he is purported to be exactly half of one color and half another? This has long baffled me; it couldn't relate to polictal expediency, now could it?
