The global supply rate for petroleum products and coal are essentially fixed over the next ten years. If one person doesn't consume them, the price will fall and somebody else will. But at the end of ten years, pretty much the same amount of fossil fuels are going to be consumed no matter what these people do.

Let's agree to go along with them for say, 10 years...
If their predictions have not come true by then, let's hang 'em..
Now all we gotta do is get them to sign an agreement to the terms....

very simple: the ringleaders of all this "global warming" hoopla (it was "ice age coming" back when it started) are gettign old and they are losing patience - they want to see their man-made nirvana before they ddie off.
if we can hold them off until...

But global warming won't do us in for at least 50 years. Instead, we should have a massive global program to slow down the solar system, so that it doesn't cross the galactic plane, as will happen in 10-15 years. When the earth crosses the galactic plane, all of civilization will COLLAPSE! There is NO stopping this UNLESS we act N O W!!!

No, 'cause they can NEVER lose.
If things get "worse" (and who really defines that?), then their predctions were right and we didn't do enough to stop it.
If things get "better," it's because they warned us in time, thank God.
If things don't change, well, hey, there's still melting ice, bad hurricanes, and whatever, somewhere, all a result of what they predicted, and proof that things are getting worse, or maybe better, or whatever.

Am I supposed to take lifestyle tips from the BoTox Crowd. Maybe we can just come up with a cosmetic fix for planet.
I guess I'll be seeing celeb TV ads telling me about "Why do I care about Global Warming?" "Because, I do, that's why"
We need a Global Warming Ribbon. It can be "smog grey" in color.

Josh (Hartnett) said: I grew up in Minnesota which is usually a cold place, but weve seen abnormally warm winters the last couple of years, which is unnerving... If water levels continue to rise at this rate, my house in New York will be underwater, and Ill have to get a gondola to get around. Its frightening. Stick your head out the window. It's six degrees F in Minnesota right now. Seems pretty cold to me.
And I live pretty close to the water. I have all my life. The sea level is the same place it has always been, since I was a little boy. I wouldn't be buying that gondola just yet.
