THIS is interesting news. Could be another DemocRAT floor leader going down in flames.
If so, Good Riddance, Dirty Harry!

I am certain that Reid will have nothing to worry about - he'll get off scot-free. He fits in perfectly in the Democrat's "culture of corruption".

At the very very least, the members of the retirement plan could sue for treble damages over a fiduciary breech, and start an ERISA investigation.

He is a Democrat, and like Clinton NOTHING will come of this, even though from reading the story several days ago it would seem that the land was given (sold) to him for less that 5% of the market value for a bribe. But then as I said he is a Democrat so that is OK.

It's hard to buy undeveloped land in booming northern Arizona for $166 an acre. But not as hard as Hillary's cattle deal.

Could he go to jail for this? If not, could he be forced to step down? I know, by whom. I just got hopeful for a minute that this could turn things around in the Senate but I'll go back to the American Idol thread.

This story actually made it on the front page of our paper today. Last week the Bullhead City Mohave County supervisor was defending him and his bridge.

Let's face it. The news media is not going to care about this because it is a Democrat. If this were about a Republican he would have already been forced out of office and into hiding.
To: Clintonfatigued
I'm sure we'll hear all about this on the front page of The New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and on all of the evening news casts. I wonder if they will devote a week or two of coverage to it as they did Mark Foley.
The Valerie Plame story has been going on for years. I wonder if this will get the same attention.......

I really hate to write this, but IMHO,
Dingy Dirty Harry will walk away scott free.
The Donks won't punish one of their own. We learned that lesson with William Jefferson, Democrat, Louisiana.
The leaves the Pubbies. And they won't 'cause they lack even minuscule cojones.
A shame.
